I explained what had previously transpired and he worked with his Team and set up a time for my truck to be picked up at my house and delivered after service was completed. The service was completed and Ken Thomas and Team turned me into a believer. I think AutoNation Ford is headed in the right direction based on the Leadership Team there. Thank you very much.

Trying to make a long story short... I was out of town, and my husband had dropped my car off here to fix a pretty simple electrical problem with the sound in my car. He was dealing with a woman named Michael. Every time he called for an update, she would give him the runaround and basically lie to him about the status of the car... She actually said that he could text her through a certain number for updates, but whenever he did that he would get no response... In fact, the last call he had made to her she had admitted that she got all these text messages and she just didn't reply to them BUT that our car was next to be serviced. Horrible service and horrible agent. When I heard all of this, I had asked my family what's going on with this place? My parents proceeded to remind me that that was the place that TOOK MY DAD'S TRUCK FOR A JOYRIDE AND ACTUALLY DAMAGED ONE OF HIS AXLES! He knew this based on his mileage, and clearly his axle was damaged. Had to take it to somewhere else to get fixed. At this news, I had had it, and I went in in person to demand my car back. When I went in, this, Michael lady was nowhere to be found, and when the staff did find her, she was extremely unfriendly. I told her that we are taking our car back and going to take our business elsewhere because of their incompetence. She sauntered off, and when she finally brought my car around, I saw that it had clearly been sitting there for 5 days, UNTOUCHED, covered in leaves and pollen and definitely NOT next in line to be serviced as she stated to us on the phone... I was standing right at my door waiting for my keys. She hung her head, gave me my keys, and I drove off never to return again. The owners name is Rick Law if anyone needs to complain to the OG...

My 2014 Escape had a low coolant light coming on - Reviveyourlife

My 2014 Escape had a low coolant light coming on intermittently for a few months and we were having to add coolant every month or so. We took it to a local auto shop who put it under pressure but couldn’t determine what was wrong. Took it to Covert because we figured Ford might know what was going on. I made it clear that this was a persistent issue and that we had no coolant leaking visibly on our driveway, it just seemed to be disappearing. They said they found a leak in the heater hoses and replaced another component, and did a front brake job. Paid $1855 for all that work, 2 weeks later, low coolant light is back on, so I take it back and they tell me it was just a bubble in the line, topped off the coolant. 2 weeks later low coolant light back on so I take it back. Now they find that the coolant hoses are bad and need to be replaced -$750. I go to pick up and ask to speak with a manager, Jerry, to see about getting some help on the cost because I’m not sure the first work they did was even necessary. Then they tell me that coolant leaks in 2014 Escapes is a KNOWN ISSUE and that I’m probably going to end up with a blown head gasket and should just trade the car in before that happens. They said they would offer a fair trade in and get me a great deal on a new car. They offered $3,000 (lol) so basically I would be giving them my car considering the several thousands I’ve just shelled out for service that never should have been done in the first place. While I’m deciding what to do I also mention that the airbag light had come on the last time they had it. He says they’ll take care of the light and offer me a discount for the coolant hoses down to $530. Over to the sales department we go to see what kind of deal we can get on a new car. Sales guy Aaron shows us some new cars and we decide on one, haggle down to what we think is a fair deal, he goes to get the car to detail and we start the finance process. Then he comes back, says so sorry, but that deal is on this cheaper other car that we made clear we weren’t interested in. He says he’ll make it right and comes back with an offer $2,000 over what we had agreed on. We got up and walked away. Oh, and while scrolling through the used car inventory on his computer we came across literally the same car I have, for sale for $11,000+ so I’m thinking I just paid for all the work they would need done to turn around and resell it. I think they just really wanted my car to resell. So I go to get my car out of hock and they tried to charge me $100 to fix the airbag issue they caused. So now I’m out $2400 and driving around a car that’s probably going to leave me stranded on the side of the road with a blown head gasket at any given moment. We will never ever go back to Covert and will tell anyone who will listen to avoid them as well. The most dishonest and unethical dealership/service around. Avoid at all costs, go to Leif Johnson.

This dealership is terrible was very aggressive with sales when I first bought this car six years ago. However, I find that that is a normal sales tactic. My biggest gripe and concern is with the service center. It is absolutely terrible. You have to book an appointment just to get your car looked at. It took three weeks to do normal warranty work. It’s absolutely unacceptable. Not only will this be the last time I ever do business with red McCombs but this will be the last Ford I buy. When I tell them about the experience I had at Lexus all they had to say is yeah well that’s Lexus , it doesn’t mean you can’t learn from that experience and try to provide the same kind of customer service which is terrible. Javier was my service manager and he did a horrible job with it. Never calls you back never is the first one to give you the update you’re always trying to figure out what’s going on with your vehicle. Never again I’m about to trade the truck and just get a Lexus SUV.

People do work and can’t just miss work for the ridiculous xx they put you through. If you didn’t have my parts why make my appointment and allow me to leave my vehicle with you?? Within the last ten days I've had two occasions to use the Quick Lane at Ken Stoepel Ford. The first time I stopped by on 9-11-23 for a state inspection, and my vehicle was taken care of quickly, with friendly and professional coordination of service by Julia Pestana. Then I scheduled an appointment for today, 9-19-23, due to issues with my vehicle's battery. Logan Landen provided professional service, and my vehicle was ready with a new battery in thirty minutes. Both of these individuals were professional, courteous and friendly, treating customers like human beings, not "numbers"--no matter how busy they were.

If I can.. ZERO Stars **Review for Tomball Ford Dealer Service** I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Tomball Ford's service department. My visit began with a mishap when I scratched my passenger side front fender against a metal swing arm they use for after-hours locking. Despite the obvious flaw in their setup, neither the dealer nor the manager took any responsibility, leaving me to cover the repair costs through my vehicle insurance. Regarding my truck’s faulty shock issue, it took an unacceptable three full days just to get a technician to inspect it and a total of ten days to complete the repairs. When I finally got my truck back, it was covered in dust, inside and out. I had dropped it off in immaculate condition, but their dirt roads and lack of care resulted in a filthy vehicle. The least they could have done was to wash it before returning it to me. The disappointments didn’t end there. Upon picking up my truck, I discovered that the A/C wasn’t cooling at all. When I went back inside to find the service rep, I was told she had left for the day. I spoke with Valentin about the dirty condition of my truck and the non-functional A/C. All he did was apologize and suggest I bring the truck back another day. Since I didn’t have a ride back home, he couldn’t offer any transportation while they kept my truck for another week to fix the A/C issue. Overall, my experience with Tomball Ford was extremely frustrating. The lack of responsibility, extended repair times, poor condition of the vehicle upon return, and inadequate customer service have ensured that I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this dealership to anyone.
