Edited review 5/31/25-General Manager Aleesa reached out to me directly. Arranged an appt and provided a car to drive while services being done. She was incredibly helpful and showed that this dealership really takes care of their customers. Made an Appointment weeks in advance to have my oil changed. I arrived at my scheduled time of 10am. Told the service advisor I was going to Walmart and i’d be backed as I had a birthday party to attend at 1pm. I retuned at noon only to find that my car had not been touched. 2 hours after my scheduled appointment my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I’m a super busy person and taking the time to drop off my car took advance planning. Ben the service advisor acted like it was my fault because I wasn’t able to leave my car there for 8 hours (all day) to have a simple oil change. I left with no oil change. Funny that this was the free maintenance Chevy offers. That’s one way to not stand by your promise, make it impossible to get the service done. I need to add that a year later I’m still trying to get my 2nd key that should have been given to me the day I bought the Car in June 2024. I guess it takes 6 months to order a replacement key that the dealership could not find. Needless to say avoid avoid avoid!

To be fair, this negative review is only about the warranty claims department at this dealership, not the service department per se. In mid-July of this year, I submitted the paperwork to be reimbursed for the replacement of the windshield wiper motor on my 2015 GMC Terrain due to a recall. The motor went bad prior to the recall. The service advisor told me that it would take up to two weeks for me to be reimbursed for the replacement. A month later, I still had no heard anything from this dealership. I called the warranty claims department and was told that it was pending but that I would be called a couple later with an update. I heard nothing from him. By last week, I still had not heard anything. I called again left a message. I was called a day later and was told that the claim was still pending. What???? It is completely inexcusable for me not to be reimbursed by this time. It also completely unprofessional for the dealership not to give me periodic updates on this claim.

The most honest, trustworthy and helpful car dealer I have ever purchased a car from. I'm a senior and have purchased many cars during my lifetime. Tell them the automobile you want and they will do everything they can to get what you want for a fair price. Everyone there make you feel like family. I have never had to bargain to get a fair price. Everyone is so pleasant, helpful, honest and make me feel like family. Their shop is also present and good. This is where I have purchased my last several cars from and will continue purchasing cars from. Thanks to the salesman Ricky, management and the team.

UPDATE: Mr. Price personally helped out with my issue and resolved it accordingly. I really appreciate that my second experience was way better!! Scheduled an appointment over a month out for service. My vehicles back window is leaking. GMC Sierra 1500. Dropped off my vehicle at 8am for what I thought was an 8:30 appointment. I was sadly mistaken. I didn’t not receive any communication from the service department. Once the time hit about 2:30 in the afternoon, my wife and I were nearby so I stopped in. I asked about an update and was told that they had not even looked at my truck yet. I proceeded to leave to await a phone call. I got that phone call about 30 minutes later. I was then told that they had window assembly would need to be resealed (something that was fairly obvious when I made the appointment over a month ago). Unfortunately they ran out of sealant/solvent because “we have had to do a few of these in the past few weeks.” So not only was I out an entire day at work for absolutely nothing to be done, I now have to take it back in on Monday for it to be fixed because after they didn’t look at it all day and didn’t have the parts to fix it, they made a phone call to another store to source the parts. Something that could have/should have been done in the morning after they should have looked at my truck at the prescribed appointment time. To say I’m disappointed is underselling it. I honestly wanted to trade in that truck right then and go buy another Ford like I had before. Thanks for not much David Carter and whoever the service manager is. I will not be recommending that anyone do business with this dealership. This is my Ted Talk, a disgruntled veteran.

This is my 8th car transaction in 12 years and Chris Nason & Robbie Trude made my latest purchase truly "Hassle Free". I felt like I walked out of an ultra luxury car dealership. They were upfront with their pricing and to my surprise they found innovative ways to lower my total price. I also commend Garber Chevy for their non mark up policy and upfront pricing even on high demand vehicles.

Worst customer service ever! I found a car I loved at Mott's. Had to drive to Orange Park to do the loan closing (nearest Chase Bank). I was on my way back and called to let Mott's know I had the check but could not get there until 11:45 (they closed at 12:00). The woman I spoke with very rudely told me I needed to be there by 11:00 for them to see me the vehicle. I explained that it was impossible since I was driving from Jacksonville. She adamantly told me no one would stay to sell me the vehicle. I asked about their hours during the week. She said I needed to be there by 4pm to buy the vehicle. I explained that I work and could not be there that early. She said sorry with so much attitude I could not believe what I was hearing. I asked if she was seriously telling me I'd have e to take my business elsewhere because no one there would stay a few minutes to seek me this car. She said the car wasn't going anywhere, that I'd figure it out. I asked again if someone could stay a few minutes, she said, "no, we don't do that". So I took my business to Walt's. Let me tell you about Walt's. They found me a car I love, found a lender and argued to get me an awesome interest rate. Had the car detailed and the gas talk full and had me out the door in less than 2 hours. I even got a hug before leaving. That is what customer service is all about. They have my business and my family's business for life.

I was charged $70 for aftermarket belt that cost $12 outside, 400% markup + $90 to install the belt. The tech left his greasy finger prints on my headliner. I wrote to the dealer and they said they will look into it and that they will detail my car and get rid of the grease on my head liner but they never did, I sent two emails to Joedy Tidwell the service director asking when can I take my car in and got no answer.
