I have been a customer of Larry Hopkins Honda as far back as 2002, having bought my first car there, and I have been a regular visitor to its Service Department for roughly the past 14 years by bringing in my late father's car (also originally bought there) for routine service/maintenance. While I have seen people come and go over the years, this dealership's commitment to customer service has been a constant that I could trust. So when I finally found a good time to shop for a new car a few weeks ago (quite fittingly on Black Friday), this was naturally the first place for me to go. It turned out that I didn't need to go anywhere else.
Both Mohammad and Felix were extremely professional and knowledgeable yet also down-to-earth and relatable, and they took the time to process what I was looking for most in a new vehicle (within the budget I had in mind) and to answer any questions that popped up along the way. They more than welcomed me to test drive both the 2026 Civic Sport Touring Hybrid Hatchback and the 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid (as I was able to narrow down my search to just those two models), and they were more than ready to elaborate on the unique features of each car. While both cars were fun to drive, I ultimately found myself in agreement with their recommendation and chose to buy the Civic on December 6th, and I was especially glad that my preferred color was already available.
The payment process that immediately followed, along with the associated paperwork, went quite smoothly. Juan was very thorough in explaining all of the forms that needed to be signed and initialed, and he has been extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of trading in my late father's car while compiling the info needed for taking care of matters at the DMV. Furthermore, Juan was very transparent in breaking down the cash price of the new car (including the accessories I have requested for installation in the immediate future), the trade-in value of the old car, and the (discounted) plans that I have added to protect the new car long term. All in all, I was very satisfied with the deal.
I can't thank Mohammad, Felix and Juan enough for all of the assistance they have provided. It's also clear how much they, as well the rest of the team at Larry Hopkins, take pride in the Honda brand, as I can certainly rely on their insight about the Civic's countless features and their advice on taking the utmost care of it for many years to come.
