It would be nice if they maintained a usable comfort bar

In the 30 days that my car was in their service
department, I was repeatedly promised the next returned loaner car, and never received one.
I went in for an engine light and knock sensor code. My

I went in for an engine light and knock sensor code. My faulty engine was replaced and covered by a settlement agreement. My engine light remained on with a knock sensor code. I returned and was told I needed a new catalytic converter.
Other dealerships have chosen to cover this repair as the faulty engine was found to have released unburned fuel into the catalytic converter, causing it to overheat and erode internally. In fact, on my service ticket it was noted that my catalytic converter was “falling apart inside”. However, Kia of Lawton, OK decided not to extend such coverage.
I was quoted $1956 for a that repair, but when the repair was finished and I asked how much, I was told $3973. It was corrected after I sent documentation of the original quote.
My engine light came back on again, with a knock sensor code. I returned and was told my knock sensor was loose. Why, through an engine replacement then a catalytic converter replacement, was the knock sensor code warning never addressed? I’m honestly surprised that they simply secured the loose knock sensor that time. I expected to be told I needed a new transmission or another exaggerated repair with an inflated price.
I have found the people at Lawton Kia to be dishonest, disrespectful, and untrustworthy. Communication was poor. My voicemails and texts would go unanswered for days on end. I would eventually have to call the GM and he would have someone in service call me. However, the GM himself would not return calls as promised either.
I will not return to their service department unless my needed repairs are to the engine or catalytic converter and are covered under warranty. Any other component of my car will be serviced at a local repair shop that has earned my trust, because Lawton Kia certainly has not.
