Mechanic did good work on vehicle, Wyatt not so much. Called me to make appointment and twice said that appointment was scheduled when it was not. I had extended warranty and told Wyatt I was entitled to Called me to make appointment and twice said that appointment was scheduled when it was not. I had extended warranty and told Wyatt I was entitled to take home vehicle. He said he wasn’t sure. I called finance department to confirm as I purchased warranty when I purchased vehicle from Machens. I told Wyatt I confirmed with finance department that I was eligible for take home vehicle and Wyatt said that finance department doesn’t always know how it works. Finally after 3rd phone call to set up appointment Wyatt set up loaner vehicle and said I should have vehicle at dealership at 7 AM. I told Wyatt I could not get there until between 10 AM and 11 AM due to a doctor’s appointment. He said that was fine. When I got text message confirming appointment it said check in was 7 AM. I called Wyatt and told him I could not do that again and he said not to worry about it but to come when I could. After arriving I checked in but vehicle was never checked in to the vehicle progress updates so I could not track it as it was being repaired. I called Wyatt at 2 PM on Friday to ascertain the progress of the vehicle but talked to someone else as Wyatt was unavailable. I was told vehicle would not be available until Monday morning. Wyatt called me at 7:44 AM Monday morning informing me that work was completed. I told him that I could not pick up until approximately 12 PM. He said that would be fine. I arrived just before noon and went to cashier but they couldn’t find paperwork. They retrieved it from Wyatt and I checked out after paying them. Cashier helped me get a ride to Enterprise with Machens transport service. When I got to Enterprise they were very busy and asked if they could check it out at their convenience, that they would email receipt. Due to transport service waiting on me I agreed to do so. Later in the afternoon I received a message from Enterprise and a statement. The statement said that Machens had only paid for 2 days and I was billed for two days. I called Enterprise and asked why I was being billed as I was not called until Monday that repairs were completed. Enterprise said Machens only agreed to pay 2 days and not the weekend. I explained that repairs were not completed and per the warranty Machens should pay the entire bill. Enterprise called Machens and then called me back stating Machens would cover entire bill. Lack of communication and after work was completed on my way back to st Louis the turbo line they sealed blew causing 0 oil pressure. Now I have it a another dealer. Could be a month before the damage is as way back to st Louis the turbo line they sealed blew causing 0 oil pressure. Now I have it a another dealer. Could be a month before the damage is assessed. I trusted your dealer ship. Never again. Reports to ford are in progress. More
