Mr. Adkins, I am confused by your review. The last email that I sent to you was December 21st, 2023. Based on what I remember, as well as notes and records in our system, you called in after you read my email and made an appointment to sell us your Corvette. I did not personally take that call, but the representative who spoke to you told me that you saw my email and agreed to the offer I provided in that email. You did end up coming in for that appointment, and we purchased your Corvette for the agreed-upon number. If my email had upset or offended you, I sincerely apologize as that was not my intention at all. I am honestly scratching my head, trying to make sense of what went wrong. If you could be so kind as to share with me what occurred or what it was that I said that you found condescending, I would greatly appreciate it as I strive to provide the absolute best guest experience for each and every individual I speak to. It sounds like we just aren’t going to agree on the facts here but if you were willing to “let it die and walk away” why then did you post a review two months after my email? Had you replied to my email back in December we could have spoken more then. How could I have known you were unhappy when the only reply I had was you calling in, referencing my email, setting an appointment, and then selling us your vehicle?

I took your offer because you reported to Car Fax that there was minor damage when in fact it was a warranty claim. Numerous Stingray employees told me that Stingray does in fact report to Car Fax. Every dealer I tried to sell the car to immediately threw the Car Fax report in my face. I had no choice but to take what I could get because of Stingray's action. No one mentioned the mileage. I want to emphatically disagree with your high minded description of Stingray as in YOUR WORDS " As you know, Stingray Chevrolet is not in the business of making as much money as possible off of a customer when we sell them a vehicle, purchase a vehicle from them, or trade them out of their vehicle into a new one - in fact, the opposite is true; we believe in 'customers for life' and know that this is only achieved by doing the right thing each and every time. THAT's why your could not give a customer who has purchased several of new vehicles from you from 2018 on, a mere $1000 more, BUT you immediately put the car up for sale at $83,000! $11,000 over what you gave me? You did not spend a nickel to prep that car. Sounds a little disingenuous to me. Stingray makes a lot of money on the backs of it's customers. You are not a charity! Your response to a criticism of Stingray Chevrolet seems thin skinned and childish. Your response prompted this review as I was more than willing to just let the whole experience die and walk away. And......Stingray charged a bogus dealer fee of $995 for this car, maybe not as much as others, but still a markup. Also, how did you reach out to me? I never received a phone call from you or anyone else. I withdrew my deposits for the Zo6 and future variant because I had it with Stingray, not because I no longer wanted the cars. I buy a lot of cars, way more than most people do. But you lost a "good customer" because of your arrogance.
