These people are professionals and aren't the "back room" deals kind of folks. Rick Dike is our go-to guy. One of his colleagues, Lee Clanton, has been involved in the past several sales through the dealership, and he is top shelf too. These guys are always ready to do what it takes to get what you want and complete the deal. Carlos assisted with going through all the features of my new Explorer. He was so willing to make sure all was set up for me, and explain features. He told me about the classes, which I make attend. He gave me his card in case I get stuck or have questions. Just great. I cannot imagine going through a vehicle purchase without these guys. Bob Little in Finance was so thorough and made the paperwork tolerable. This isn't the first time we've worked with him either. He makes it fun each time. Five Star takes care of their people and they stick around. There is no reason to go to a dealership that plays games with you or doesn't shoot straight. Just go. Rather they took time to listen to what we really wanted and what price range we were staying in. Mark first took us to see some nice certified preowned, and after all the time he spent we left to think it over, was great not to feel pressured. Looked on 5 Stars website and found a new truck for just a few thousand more than pre owned, with $8k in rebates. Carlos got us the keys and we were off to be impressed by all the features. Before we went to finalize the deal in finance Mark showed us many options with down payment we selected, and even calculated the monthly payment. I went to finance thinking "Can things go this smooth?" Or is this when I get the bad news about rates and hard sell about extended warranty. When Tut ran the final numbers they matched to the penny with what we calculated. Tut went through line by line and even listed what we will spend in total interest over life of loan, and everything was EXACTLY what we calculated earlier. I say this so that even if you are not comfortable with all the math you can trust who you are working with, I will be sending friends and family here. More
