Install of bug guard and purchase of the new ford ranger I purchased a 2019 ford ranger when I took receipt of the truck and drove it 23 miles it was out of washer fluid. this was missed by the service depa I purchased a 2019 ford ranger when I took receipt of the truck and drove it 23 miles it was out of washer fluid. this was missed by the service department on a brand new purchase. I ordered and had a cargo holder installed and a bug shield installed. In both cases the service writer was not aware of how the installation pricing and install was set up. They knew I had appointment but knew nothing more. All in all the service was good, just the communication from the sales & parts department and the service department is lacking ! More

We brought our Ford explore in because we were leaking engine coolant/antifreeze and we purchased a extended warranty which we have done for other vehicles that we purchased through there since we’ve purc engine coolant/antifreeze and we purchased a extended warranty which we have done for other vehicles that we purchased through there since we’ve purchased and friends referred have purchased many over 10 at least vehicles through Palm Coast Ford before having this problem which we will now never purchase again as well as friends and family and I am strongly encouraging everyone to go elsewhere to purchase a vehicle and not to Palm Coast Ford because they will try to give you an extended warranty and they will explain it where your original warranties cover for three years 36 months and 36,000 miles the extended warranty is good for another 36 as well as I am strongly encouraging everyone to go elsewhere to purchase a vehicle and not to Palm Coast Ford because they will try to give you an extended warranty and they will explain it where your original warranties cover for three years 36 months and 36,000 miles the extended warranty is good for Three years and 36,000 miles and it’s explained as since every extended warranty exchange it for that term and length which our other vehicles it is that way however they are trying to get out of paying $1050 just to fix a water pump as well as valve gasket and both are covered under the warranty plan we purchased and they are coming to us telling us that our extended warranty three years and 36,000 miles and it’s explained as since every extended warranty extend it for that term and length which our other vehicles it is that way however they are trying to get out of paying $1050 just to fix a water pump as well as valve gasket and both are covered under the warranty plan we purchased and they are coming to us telling us that our extended warranty Is now expired because we are past the 36,000 miles because our vehicle has it over 62,000 however it was explained Told to us in the way where it is an additional 36,000 miles which is why it’s an extended warranty plan so we should be covered for up to 72,000 miles however they are fighting us telling us that it is not covered it’s only up to 36,000 both the regular warranty plan the original and the extended only cover you up to 36,000 total which makes no sense why would an extended warranty plan not extend the coverage an additional 36,000 which is what it says on our contract the distance for the extended plan is 36,000 the original plan is also 36,000 so Told to us in the way where it is an additional 36,000 miles which is why it’s an extended warranty plan so we should be covered for up to 72,000 miles however they are fighting us telling us that it is not covered it’s only up to 36,000 both the regular warranty plan the original and the extended only cover you up to 36,000 total which makes no sense why would an extended warranty plan not extend the coverage and additional 36,000 which is what it says on our contract the distance for the extended plan is 36,000 the original plan is also 36,000 so total Of 72,000 miles when I explain this to put the case number and with a different department at Ford the main office she agreed as well that it should be a total of 72,000 miles however palm coast Ford is not holding up to their end so they charged us an arm and a leg for the extended warranty plan and my girlfriend when she purchased the vehicle they charge an arm and a leg for it as well where she’s paying as much each month for her 2016 Bass Ford explore base model as much as you would pay for an Audi each month Of 72,000 miles when I explain this to put the case number and with a different department at Ford the main office she agreed as well that it should be a total of 72,000 miles however palm coast Ford is not holding up to their end so they charged us an arm and a leg for the extended warranty plan and my girlfriend when she purchased the vehicle they charge an arm and a leg for it as well where she’s paying as much each month for her 2016 Bass Ford explore base model as much as you would pay for an Audi each monthAnd the grandfather who is on that vehicle on that as well as purchased 10 vehicles through that Palm Coast Ford as well and extended warranty plans we were first friends family that purchase another many vehicles and they are not holding up to what they should be doing and what we paid for to try to get out of paying and a measly $1050 as a good faith but most importantly as it should be covered in our extended warranty plan that we have been paying for and we paid good money for. They also told us And a grandfather who is on that vehicle owns it as well has purchased 10 vehicles through that Palm Coast Ford as well and extended warranty plans we referred friends family that purchase another many vehicles and they are not holding up to what they should be doing and what we paid for to try to get out of paying a measly $1050 as a good faith but most importantly as it should be covered in our extended warranty plan that we have been paying for and we paid good money for. They also told usThat in addition to the water pump we need to pay to have it flushed out as well which if you’re replacing a water pump the flushing out is required when you replace the water pump so it should be all included in the price of replacing the water pump not pay for the water pump and I’ll top of that pay to have it flushed out when it’s required to do so so far) will try and they will do everything to hit you over the head for everything that they can think of they will go back on their word for example again I got a call from the Woman Kristin in the service department on That in addition to the water pump we need to pay to have it flushed out as well which if you’re replacing a water pump the flushing out is required when you replace the water pump so it should be all included in the price of replacing the water pump not pay for the water pump and I’ll top of that pay to have it flushed out when it’s required to do so so far) will try and they will do everything to hit you over the head for everything that they can think of they will go back on their word for example again I got a call from the Woman Kristin in the service department on Monday saying “ Good news for looks like they’re going to be covering the work on the Ford explore I just need to order the part because we don’t have it here so we probably won’t have the car done until Thursday“ On Tuesday morning I called to see if my girlfriend can get a loaner vehicle so she can get to work and back while they’re working on the vehicle since it took 4 to 5 days to argue and get it covered like it should’ve been so that was four or five days that they were not working on the vehicle because we wanted to make sure that it was covered like it should have been so she already was without a car and she needed want to get to work and back and when I called to ask she then proceeds to say that oh well I’ve actually been fighting with Ford because They are now saying that it’s not going to be covered and they are going to pay for it to be done which 1) if I did not call to inquire about a loaner vehicle then I would not of known now that they’re saying they’re not gonna cover it which is something that I would need to know right away because we would have to figure out what the heck is going on and try to see if we can get the money available since hours have been cut at work due to the coronavirus which means we’re not getting paid as much and we still have all of our other bills and 2) How can you tell the customer that it’s going to be covered we’re ordering the part and it should be done by Thursday and now say that it’s not going to be covered and go back on what you already told the customer that is absolutely an ethical if you don’t know for sure that it’s going to be covered or if there’s any doubt you need to make that known not tell them that it’s going to be covered and you’re going to start the work if you order the part and it comes in you don’t tell them that you would make it known that They are still looking into it if there’s any doubt want you tell the customer that it’s going to be covered and you just have to order the part and wait for it to come in once you tell them that you are now bound by your verbal agreement and your verbal word to that customer we have it on recording as well because she left a voicemail saying that and they still are arguing. They are still looking into it if there’s any doubt want you tell the customer that it’s going to be covered and you just have to order the part and wait for it to come in once you tell them that you are now bound by your verbal agreement and your verbal word to that customer we have it on recording as well because she left a voicemail saying that and they still are arguing. Again, Do not trust anything they tell you and Make sure you bring someone that knows cars or knows what they’re talking about when it comes to work that needs to be done because they will do everything to charge you for whatever they can they will go back on their word they will go back on a actual contract and try telling you that there is the fine print or they will explain a contract to you in one way But they will then go and tell you they did not tell you that afterwards so you need to be careful if you do purchase a vehicle through there however if I were you there are plenty other places to purchase a quality vehicle a quality vehicle with customer service where they actually care and take care of their customers especially their repeat customers so again tell your friends your family your Coworkers your neighbors anybody to stay away from Palm Coast Ford and if you already purchased a vehicle through them but just need service I would take that elsewhere as well because they will try hitting you over the head with anything and everything they can or try to get away with. And another and last thing I asked to speak with the finance manager to find out directly what his reasoning once since they kept telling me that I needed to speak with the finance manager and then call me back I was on hold for over eight minutes finally called back Eckes for the finance manager again was told that he was helping somebody and he would call me back I have yet to hear back from him and now they are closed so I’m going in tomorrow to speak with him directly More
