My email is rejtyoung@verizon.net I was taken for $10,247 on warranty contracts. It’s a used Toyota but they ended up charging me $44,000 Supposedly they have canceled four of the warranties leaving me owing $2195 in Warranty although I have not received the money for the cancelled warranties as of yet even though the warranties were canceled, but I am waiting for the money back to my bank. The 2195 is for rain X and hand sanitizer and it’s only good for sixty days. Yes I need help removing the 2195 that the dealer said I have to have and I said I don’t want it. Yes, I would appreciate if you can turn my experience around so I can continue my car shopping with your dealership at Toyota Of Tampa Bay and change my raider response to a pleasant one and not have to contact the Better Business Bureau. I was originally charged $10,274 for five warranties that I didn’t want which was for a $28,990 used automobile. On February 25, 2026 Suncoast Credit Union completed and submitted a Morgan contract cancellation request form and odometer disclosure statement that was notarized and submitted to Morgan Auto Group. Four warranties for. $8097 were canceled and I am still waiting for the credit union to receive the refund. Premium protect plus protection plan $2195 went directly to the dealership contract PRE 10087917. I have been told that the contract for $2195 cannot be canceled. The problem is I did not ask for that contract. I explicitly said I do not want that contract, but it was sneaked in the contract signing. I do not need $2195 worth of. Rain X. Roadside assistance for three years 36,000 miles one trip per year when I have triple AAA premium
and in the event that I totaled my car in the first 60 days of the contract, you will give me $2500 towards another vehicle at your dealership. I believe this is a hoax and I hope more people realize this that buy a car from you. In summary, please refund my $2195 that is controlled by your dealership and look into the refund amount of $8097 through Morgan auto group that is to be returned to the lender. I was excited to purchase my new car from them. That excitement has turned into disgruntle. They were dishonest and they have not paid off my trade in (it's been over 3 weeks now). I wasn't aware they could put me in a position to have to make payments on my trade-in vehicle and my new vehicle to avoid negative remarks on my credit report. Their reputation with me is extremely negative. I plan to reach out to them in person for a resolution that I hope will be favorable. Phone calls are not working. They should have been honest with me as I was with them. I guess all they wanted was the check from the bank. I was already pre-approved with CapitalOne, they ended up financing me through Wellsfargo. Granted, I already have services with both CapitalOne and Wellsfargo, why didn't they inform me that the financing had changed. I only came to the dealership because of the CapitalOne pre-approval in the first place. On the night I bought the new car, I was tired from work and not operating 100%. They took advantage of that. Who's to say they will keep their word on the free oil changes and car detailing going forward. This 2024 Camry SE is my 3rd Camry. I traded in my 2018 Camry XLE. Previously, traded in a Toyota 2017 Avalon for the 2018 Camry XLE. Additionally, my very first vehicle was a 1993 Toyota Tercel, I purchased it in the spring of 1993. Nonetheless, I'm a very dissatisfied, disappointed, and frustrated Toyota customer.
