First let me address your accusation that this was some sort of money grab. How dare you. I would have surely asked for more if that were the case. My time, anguish and inconvenience have a value, not t sort of money grab. How dare you. I would have surely asked for more if that were the case. My time, anguish and inconvenience have a value, not to mention the rising cost of the same vehicle. Not including the sentimental value of my late father. THE DURANGO WENT UP IN FLAMES AT YOUR DEALERSHIP, TRONCALLI. I had nothing to do with it and you’re making me out to be some greedy clown, looking for a payday. I simply want FAIR compensation for my troubles and inconvenience. I did receive a payout from my insurance company; however it wasn't close to making me whole. My photos clearly show that the fire started at the ABS sensor, as the insurance investigator corroborated, not at the wheel. The fire happened the evening after the techs had looked at it, and as I said before, an accident, but one in Troncalli's care and custody. AT NO POINT DID YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FROM TRONCALLI PROACTIVELY REACH OUT TO ME TO DISCUSS ANY KIND OF RESTITTUTION. We did meet after I came in to see you. You looked for a whole 10 days for a vehicle it took me months to find. When I came in for the 3rd time, I waited for over 20 minutes and you stopped me in the lobby, didn’t even take me to an office to discuss. You had already made up your mind that you had done all you would. This is when I requested a monetary settlement, as now it was on me to go find a replacement Durango. At that point, on Saturday 4/21, you became rude and dismissive and withdrew your offer. Not just today. This is why I was moved to review you, and the Troncalli dealership on Yelp. I have to take the time, search and possibly travel to replace my Durango. You worked for a week and a half. I lost a $38,000 vehicle that I now must replace at an avg cost of $40,000, through no fault of my own. IT WAS LOST TO FIRE AT TRONCALLI. There was a little good faith, until it cost Troncalli money. Then your offers for certification and some services were insulting. I'm not looking to strengthen my position, the truth will bear out. I am simply sharing my experience with others, about Troncalli, that put forth a lackluster effort to compensate a customer FOR THE TOTAL LOSS OF HIS DURANGO. I’ve been calm and willing to work with you up to this point, never raising my voice until you dismissed me Saturday, despite the fact that I LOST MY VEHICLE TO FIRE AT TRONCALLI. More

CAR CAUGHT FIRE AT TRONCALLI - TOTAL LOSS! !!!! Obviously this is a ZERO star rating! Took in my 2019 Durango GT because it wouldn't start on Saturday April 16th 2022. They pulled codes on Satu !!!! Obviously this is a ZERO star rating! Took in my 2019 Durango GT because it wouldn't start on Saturday April 16th 2022. They pulled codes on Saturday, nothing on Sunday as they are closed. Monday the 18th the techs diagnosed the problem as an ABS sensor that would take a couple of weeks for the backordered part. At about 12:30 on the next day, the Service Manager JR calls, the Durango CAUGHT FIRE around 1 AM, right at the location of the bad ABS sensor. Totaled by insurance, I wait. I hear nothing from the dealership for weeks. No one from Troncalli reached out to me to offer any form of reparation or compensation, let alone apologize for what happened. I finally go in to talk to the General Manager, Clifford Rudd. I said I was looking for some form of compensation as this happened the evening after the techs looked at the vehicle. (I believe it was an accident, but an accident on Troncalli's watch.) He's asked what I wanted, I said the same exact vehicle down to the color and accessories. Note: It took me several months to find this color called Destroyer Gray (for Navy ship), as my father served on a Destroyer in the Navy. I only owned the Durango for 4 months before it caught fire on Troncalli's lot. After about a week and a half Mr. Rudd told me that they couldn't find the vehicle the way I had it, color and all the accessories. Not surprising as it took me months. I went for the 3rd time to discuss monetary compensation, as now the task of finding the Durango is on me. General Manager Clifford Rudd was dismissive and acted as though they owed me nothing. I don't feel I was asking for too much, as I am out the only vehicle I had through no fault of my own. It will be challenging to find the vehicle, and it was lost in their care and custody. I would be nice to hear from the owner. More
