Needed a used mini-van and liked the inventory. Called ahead as I was not sure of Covid restrictions. When I got there car I was interested in was ready to go. We found a car online, was able to test drive it within a couple of days, and purchased it easily once we decided we wanted it very easy. EDITED: So when I took my car to get inspected, it would have failed without getting the cabin filter replaced. It was also recommended to get another filter replaced. I did both and then contacted Bourne’s have failed without getting the cabin filter replaced. It was also recommended to get another filter replaced. I did both and then contacted Bourne’s as both David and Shawn told me that if the car had any issues passing inspection, the dealership would take responsibility for those issues. I asked if I could get refunded for at least the cost of the cabins air filter. I heard back from David who said he would look into it. After no reason as for a week, I emailed to follow up and received an email back telling me to “be patient”, with other non-helpful information and no answer either way. Another week went by so I emailed again. And now, more than two weeks after the inspection, I still don’t have an answer to this. I would like to say I will recommend Bourne’s but I will not. The reason being: poor communication and lack of customer service after the sale is finalized. I honestly wouldn’t have cared if the answer was yes or no, I simply wanted an answer. I still think the price of the car was fine. And the sales process was fine. But the commitment to stick to what they offer is lacking and communication is lacking. And also, telling a customer to “be patient” when they are sending a follow up request for information after you haven’t communicated with them AT ALL for a week is very bad form. More
