I can’t thank David and Edwin enough for what was probably one of the best car shopping experiences I’ve ever had. My father was looking for a new Jeep Cherokee, we had visited East Hills Jeep an probably one of the best car shopping experiences I’ve ever had. My father was looking for a new Jeep Cherokee, we had visited East Hills Jeep and got a price, the salesman just gave a strange vibe, and I think could tell that I’m not one he could pull a fast one on. Leaving East Hills to think about it, we decided to make a stop at Bayside Jeep about 5 minutes before they close on Saturday. We were greeted by Edwin, the sales manager. We sat down to talk numbers and after crunching a few numbers, shared that East Hills was giving a good price and that he couldn’t beat it but he could match it. I then asked about a higher model trim, that had a higher MSRP—this car happened to have a larger incentive on it, and having done my homework, he gave us an incredible number on it. After sitting with Edwin for an hour, while the showroom was closed, we decided to come back for a test drive the next day. Sunday comes, Edwin set us up with David to work through they deal— David had the car ready to test drive when we arrived, he took us out on the test drive, spent about an hour going over features, going through paperwork, just talking to us, sharing car stories.... he was one of the nicest, least pushy, car salesmen I’ve ever met. So to that one woman whose comment suggested that David was rude, I question her real motive and truth, and you should too. I also want to give a special thanks to Terry Shine, the finance guy, who also was first class. Usually when you’re finalizing a deal, the amount of extra care and protection packages they try to sell you is a mile long. I simply said when we sat down, please don’t try and sell us any add ons, were not interested... he laughed and didn’t mention it once. Again I want to thank these three guys, for a painless lease process, and an incredible experience. You made my dad very happy, and it gives me so much joy to see him driving a beautiful new car. If you’re reading this, and have gotten this far in my review, you need to stop thinking about going to Bayside Jeep, and just head over there now.... go see David, he’s a great guy, he will take care of you! My overall experience at Bayside Chrysler Jeep far exceeded my expectations. Katie (wonderful) connected me with Turgo Tropnasse (fantastic) and thru Turgo I met Edwin Diaz (great). I will say it was a refreshing experience to work with these individuals. I’ve always felt like I had to put on a pair of boxing gloves before I entered any car dealership in the past and get ready for a stressful battle. I felt that way before entering Bayside Chrysler as well, but after a short while in the company of Turgo I felt at ease and safe to remove the gloves. Turgo was pressure free and really helped me to stay within my budget and drive away with a really nice vehicle, thanks Turgo and Edwin! Even after a short while with Bobbie in finance I felt it was ok to remove the boxing gloves and that was unexpected, but I kept them close by just in case ;).
