I have my Fords serviced at 5 Star & had always bought my Fords from a smaller dealership. That dealership was sold & my sales person was let go. Since I knew Ron Green & had a very pleasant experience with service I thought that I would try again to buy a new truck from Sam Pack. Several years ago I went to buy a truck there & wanted to test drive the truck on various roads, that experience was horrible with the salesman , he was overbearing & acted as if I wouldn't buy the truck anyway & couldn't wait to get rid of me. So I never went back to sales until now. But based on my service experience I ask Ron to get me in touch with a pleasant salesman, he did & Doyle Wells called me - he was very pleasant, courteous & gave me all of the choices that I needed to select a truck that I & my wife liked, he then patiently waited while I got my funds moved around to purchase the truck. Then my meeting with "Tut" Edwards in finance was just as pleasant. The process takes a while & I was tired & wore out by the time that I left, but I was happy & will buy here again if I need another Ford - we have an Edge Limited a King Ranch 250 & now a Lariat 150.. Mr. Sam Limo came in on his day off to help me get into the truck of my dreams. He never once pushed the buy, or pressured me in any way. When Mr. Tut (Elbert Edwards) took care of the financial paper work as quickly and smoothly as possible I was amazed at what truly nice folks I had found. In such a large dealership I really didn't expect to be treated with the friendliness and near family atmosphere that I found. I was helped immediately by Lee Clanton who took the time to explain all of my options and answered all questions while also effectively cutting to the chase of what was most important to me in a vehicle, se to explain all of my options and answered all questions while also effectively cutting to the chase of what was most important to me in a vehicle, securing me the perfect car for my needs/wants. Financing was handled by Tut Edwards, who also answered all questions and provided sound information/perspective on both current and future options. Lee was diligent in checking in with me regularly while I waited and worked with Tut. Jimmie Matthews was thorough in explaining the features of my vehicle upon delivery, as well as indicating classes and one-on-one training, as needed. It was a busy day (12/30/13) and, due to some expected wait time, I had the opportunity to talk with several other employees that were not involved in my sale/lease. Everyone was positive, upbeat, knowledgeable AND had all been working at Five Star Ford for many years (the receptionist for 27!). In the transient world of car sales, this impressed me. They truly had a family atmosphere amongst them and genuinely seemed committed to building long-term relationships based on service, support and excellence, and not just in selling a car. I look forward to many years of service with Five Star Ford and wholeheartedly endorse them to potential customers without reservation. More

I have been a 5 Star Ford customer for over 6 years and have been involved with 3 vehicle purchases in that time frame. Every time I have visited 5 Star Ford I have worked with Tut and he is simply the bes have been involved with 3 vehicle purchases in that time frame. I worked with Tut when he was a salesman and I have worked with him in his new position in the Finance Dept and I would not want to work with anyone else. Being a first time car buyer, and dealing with some other Ford Dealerships around the Metroplex.. where the people were rude and jerks, and tried to charge me a high rate (8%) for a basic package, and just b Ford Dealerships around the Metroplex.. where the people were rude and jerks, and tried to charge me a high rate (8%) for a basic package, and just blamed their attitudes on it being a busy saturday.. I had almost given up on buying a new car, or not buying a Ford. A friend refered me to Mark Lancaster at Five Star Ford, said that he was the Top of the Line salesman. And I agree full heartedly Mark Lancaster made the experince so enjoyable and was a wonderful salesman to work with. He was so helpful from the moment that I sent him an email at 8 am to the time I drove off the lot with my brand new Mustang at 9:30 at night. In the emails he asked me basic questions on what i wanted in my car.. I told him the basic package, Metallic gray.. and how much i wanted to pay after TT&L.. I didn't need all the bells and whistles, i had gone without them for so long, didn't feel i really needed them. I pulled into the lot at 5:30 pm he greated me at the door and had my dream car all ready and waiting for me to test drive it, also to top it off, he picked one out that had a few bells and whistles in it, and still came in under what i wanted to pay monthly. Tut Edwards was a pleaseure to work with, he helped me get a low APR and came in underneath my maximum monthly payment. I could have not asked for a better Finance guy to work with! He help me understand all the paperwork i was signing, and got me the best bang for my buck. I will definately recommend anyone, looking to buy a new car to got to Five Star Ford! They were truley wonderful people. More
