Scam from the start. Posted a car with price online which made us drive there. Got there and they tell us the car is $1600 more now. They replaced tires and brakes which added to the price. Really...then don made us drive there. Got there and they tell us the car is $1600 more now. They replaced tires and brakes which added to the price. Really...then dont post a lower price. Then the car wouldn't turn off. The doors would lock or unlock. They pulled it in the shop to look at it. We requested to go look underneath the vehicle and got the run around. 25 mins later we were able to see the under of the car. I can say they do a great job cleaning a motor and undercarriage. Looked brand new. In order to get the car for the internet price we had to buy as is. Which should have been the red flag but since the tires and brakes are new we decided to go ahead on the cash sale. The salesman was so condescending in the process. We left and drove home only for the car not turning off again. Took it the dealership we always buy from and trust (unfortunately they did not have an older used car on their lot. This was for my 16 yr old son). Turns out, the locking issue was Corrosion in the junction box in the front area of the car and a arched wire. No biggie. Until they showed me the massive oil leaks. Not just one thing...many things leaking. No wonder they cleaned it good and didn't want us in the shop. There is no way they can say they didn't know. The underneath of the car had oil all over it. Just from driving from Hodgkins to Tinley Park. Definitely not what it looked like when we looked. Unreal. If you are willing to put one car up for sale knowing there are major issues, how many more are on that lot the same way? More
