Happy not to have to frequent the service department...but the few times I've been in there...had great service. Spoke to a “Troy” on the phone who assured me I was pre approved for financing, stated lenders “were not requiring a down payment “ at this time. Made an appointment the next day, AFTER WORKING NIGHT SHIFT approved for financing, stated lenders “were not requiring a down payment “ at this time. Made an appointment the next day, AFTER WORKING NIGHT SHIFT after arriving, was a completely different story! I’d go somewhere else where you won’t be lied to! The entire reason for applying online is to be PRE APPROVED! Not for you to have consumers information to sell or reach your Quota for the week! Might need to buy your employees a class in ETHICS! I purchased a 2016.5 Chevrolet Cruze in 2018 but last year, had to have the vehicle towed in because the car was stalling, service light was on. A mouse nest was found inside and their diagnostic found year, had to have the vehicle towed in because the car was stalling, service light was on. A mouse nest was found inside and their diagnostic found the harness wire was chewed, but repairable. This was good news because the harness was not available anywhere, even nationwide, due to the China trade war. After that, I received a call from Tim (branch manager) it was ready to pick up! Great !! Then I received call from Ed Mangus in service stating they found additional damage to piston and cylinder #1, possibly #2. We went back and forth and I was asking why this was not found from the beginning? Did they drive it? The service engine light still had to be on - advised no from Ed – they had to manually push it in. I was feeling something was not right, asked him several times for another service video – took several days and they also provided an estimate for more repairs almost $4000 – I requested detail on parts etc. and that also took several days. Ed stated not to worry - this piston and cylinder problem was common with the Chevrolet Cruze and our warranty would cover it. After going back and forth on that, it was denied due to ‘one’ tire rotation not completed. I called the insurance adjuster to go back out and he also took a picture of current odometer and that is when we found out they put almost put 4 miles while in their possession. … another lie from what he said before... When I brought this to Ed’s attention - I was advised, well they did, they had to test drive it to check the harness wiring .. I made the decision to have it moved because I did not want them touching it any longer. The final bill was wrong, they had extra charges and the insurance company had to intercept on that as well. A service tech was walking by and he asked if I was driving it and I said no – it will be towed. He said good because it shouldn’t be driven. I responded by ‘ YOU ‘ guys drove it almost 4 miles and you are telling ME not to drive it ?' He walked way. The cashier was even shocked and commented, this vehicle only has 65,000 miles and it needs an engine rebuild?? We had it towed to our mechanic that same day and they confirmed engine piston and cylinder crack #1. Possible engine crack. We towed it for a 3rd opinion and advised the same. The car was worth almost nothing now …We have heard first hand, and from too many people I cannot count, the unprofessionalism and shoddy service on how McCluskey ruins vehicles brought in for service. SCAMMERS! I purchased my Jeep from this dealership 5 yrs ago and was required to get my oil changes done here I’d I wanted to keep my lifetime warranty. Twice now they’ve given my an inspection form that sa ago and was required to get my oil changes done here I’d I wanted to keep my lifetime warranty. Twice now they’ve given my an inspection form that says I need $1500 in repairs for items I JUST HAD REPLACED (break pads, rotors, etc.)! They prey on people, hoping we don’t know better. It’s bad enough that the repairs are marked up to 3x what they should be, but telling people they need repairs they don’t need is horrible! Don’t expect them to be apologetic, either. I called to speak to a number of people and the best they could do was offer to pay for the oil change I already paid for, so they basically did absolutely nothing. I will never return here for any services and I definitely won’t purchase another vehicle with this dealer. They’re icky. More

I just payed 1600 dollars worth of service for my 2016 Cruze This is the third time I have had to have my car serviced even though it’s only three years old. The turbo went out in my car so I thought I’d Cruze This is the third time I have had to have my car serviced even though it’s only three years old. The turbo went out in my car so I thought I’d send it to the dealer who manufactured my car because they would do the best job. While my car was there it needed an updated oil change. So I asked them to do this as well! Well I got my car back and noticed a burning smell while driving it. I took my car straight home and my boyfriend looks at it and it has NO OIL! So I call the dealership spoke with tabitha she was great told me Sora would tow my car and they would have a rental for me in the morning to call Craig the service manager or Gary in the morning. So when I didn’t receive a call by noon I called Craig that then told they would not be giving me a rental because they don’t know that they did anything wrong so of course I was furious I hadn’t even had my car one day and somehow this is my fault there is no oil in it??? I told him I wanted a supervisor and then Gary called me. Stated he never said they wouldn’t give me a rental “but that is what Craig told me” that they just needed to see if they could fix it now or not. So he hangs up and calls me back a couple hours later and says “so we figured out that a tube that connects from the oil pan it missing so we are going to fix that and you should be good and we aren’t going to charge you for the service!” Ummm excuse me charge me for something you guys messed up I think not!! So I stated your xxxx right I won’t be charged because it was your guys mistake and how do I know I didn’t do damage to my car by driving on it with no oil?!! He then tells me nothing is wrong with my car. But how can he say that when I know there was no way they made sure my car was ok sora literally just dropped it off to them 30 minutes prior! So I told Gary I would take my car elsewhere and get a second opinion because I didn’t trust that they would tell me if something was wrong because it was their mistake! He then tells me “good and don’t ever bring your car back here again your not welcome here!” And hangs up the phone on me! Very rude and unprofessional and degrading to women like I’m an idiot and I don’t know that having no oil in your car can cause great damage! My boyfriend then picks my car up for me and Craig tells him “ your a lot nicer than your girlfriend by the way tell her to have her car serviced elsewhere she isn’t allowed to come here!” Like is this a joke? My car is still under power train warranty and if you don’t do your oil changes through McCluskey then they void it so how is that suppose to work? Just all over a horrible experience and I have bought all of my cars through Mcclusky and NEVER have been treated so bad and I WILL take my complaints to the very top of the food chain including the better business bureau if I have to because this is beyond appalling! I called and left voicemails for Tim and some women as well of corse no call back! Even though I asked to speak to Gary’s supervisor and Gary tells me he is the supervisor no one is above him!! More

Poor service and lied to from service department 1st visit: Engine light came on and I scanned my vehicle before bringing it in and received code P0446 “Evap emissions vent control circuit.” Service 1st visit: Engine light came on and I scanned my vehicle before bringing it in and received code P0446 “Evap emissions vent control circuit.” Service dept also received the same code and stated they replaced the EVAP canister. (They never once mentioned the possibility of it being the fuel tank pressure sensor based off this code.) 2nd visit: Engine light came on the very next day. I scanned my vehicle before bringing it in and received the same code P0446 “Evap emissions vent control circuit.” As before. Service dept also received the same code and stated that there was a loose clamp on a hose after performing a smoke test. (Once again they never mentioned the possibility of it being the fuel tank pressure sensor based off the same code as first visit) 3rd visit: Engine light came back on a week later. I scanned my vehicle before bringing it in and received the same code P0446 “Evap emissions vent control circuit.” As before. I received a phone call from BJ smith explaining that it was the fuel tank pressure sensor and since I was outside of my warranty by 1,000 miles that it would cost me $550 for repair. I said even though it’s the same code P0446 as the 2 previous visits and that fix was never mentioned. BJ then said it was not that code and it was a different code all together and since I refused service, I’d be charged $100 for scan and $20 for my rental. I said I scanned my truck before I brought it in and received P0446 which is the same exact code I received from the beginning and I was under the impression that this would be a pre-existing issue since I’ve been in twice before and the issue was not fixed. So I came in that evening to pick my truck up and service manager Jeremy Huber was the only one there. I asked if my truck could be scanned in front of me so I could see the code myself to confirm that it was in fact different than the previous code I received 30 minutes before dropping my vehicle off. All of the techs were gone so he said he’d look at my account to see what code was scanned for this visit. I said “before you tell me what it is, is it P0446?” He confirmed that was the code scanned on this visit. I said but BJ swore that it was not that code and it was something else. This tells me that I was lied to about what was scanned and that they didn’t wanna honor their misdiagnosis for 3 visits for the same problem. And over the last two visits, they simply band-aided the issue and milked my warranty mileage til it expired and then decided to tell me exactly what would fix the issue which has never been mentioned during my last 2 visits. Jeremy instructed me to contact the warranty company and then come back to him if i didn’t get anywhere. They told me that they can only go by what the dealership tells them regarding warranty work. I have also been having issues with the tire pressure wheel sensors. I was told by BJ on my last visit that is was low tire pressure but I made sure all 4 tires were at 35psi before dropping my vehicle off. And yes, the service tire pressure system light is still on and now my front left and rear left tire pressure sensors are not reading. I understand dealership techs are paid flat rate on warranty work but not fixing the issues and lying to customers is not right. Even if McCluskey’s now wanted to honor my warranty and fix the issue, I would never bring my vehicle back simply because they cannot be trusted and I’d be afraid that they would fix that issue and send me on my way with a few new issues to be discovered down the road. And what pisses me off the most about this engine light still being on. It’s been down to the 20’s at 6 AM and I can’t use my xxxx remote start. If this truck was a few years newer, we’d be talking lemon law due to a problem not being fixed after 3 visits. More

I sent it to McCluskey because I liked the dealership and it’s a Chevrolet dealer. This has turned into an absolute nightmare. There are so many details I will not go into but this is just terrible. I really wish I would have read the reviews before dealing with their service department.Since July my vehicle has had to go back twice. I have paid almost $1400 in repairs which I will say they did discount some but that’s because they missed a repair per their admittance. Now this last time (Labor Day) the vehicle had to go back again for the same issue and we were going to need to pay another $700 in repairs which one of the repairs was a thermostat we asked to be replaced the first time and they said we didn’t need it. Now it’s in need of an engine. Per Mccluskey I have only paid $700 but I have receipts reflecting almost $1400. They are also claiming we just want free services. The truth is if they would have fixed my suvcorrectly the first time then the suv would probably still be running. I had no problem with paying to get my vehicle fixed until I had to send it back that many tines. And now after they asked me about trading it in they then turned around and declined the offer; giving me a $14000 car repair estimate. Consumer beware! There is something that is wrong going on in their service department. More

I have been going to this service center since my Saturn dealer went out of business. I was very leary of a change. The Service department made me feel welcome and answered all my questions every time. This dealer went out of business. I was very leary of a change. The Service department made me feel welcome and answered all my questions every time. This last visit was for mr "check engine light" was on. It was due to a faulty gas cap (which I had replaces numerous times when still with Saturn). After they were done and I was wakked to my car, he checked the cap and was nit hapoy with the loose fit. He tgen took it back in ti get it fixed right. It is that kind of care that I receive every time for any reason. I will buy my next car from them just fir the service departments professionalism and courtesy I receive there all the time. More
