with CBB, it’s important to start with my story. Earlier this year, my father passed away suddenly and left our family with a brand new 4Runner that we could no longer use. Here we were with a 4 month old car, with jo use for it. Furthermore, we were having to worry about making the payments that we couldn’t afford. After visiting CBB, we were greeted like family. I explained the situation to John Swan, Danny, and Adam. They worked right away to offer us the most for the vehicle and gave a VERY generous offer. We couldn’t be more relieved and extremely grateful to all those we worked with. They have a customer for life and I feel truly apart of the CBB family.. I’d recommend them to anyone that is looking for value, commitment to service, and a no pressure environment to buy a top quality used car. Simply the best in Arizona

hospitality and a strong emphasis on customer service. They took a vehicle that I wanted to trade in, that I didn’t have with me and they went ahead and took my word for it and gave me the vehicle that I wanted to purchase and let me bring in the car the following day. The vehicle i purchased was spotless. They detailed it filled it, and filled gas. Not only was the salesman very helpful his name was Q. Also the general manager was just as helpful! He helped me every step of the way after it was time to finance and they treated me like a human being and not just a $! I’ll be buying my third vehicle from Benz and Beamer in less than a year probably. mainly because of the way they treat me. There’s a lot of dealerships that have nice cars but there’s more than just a car when you buy a vehicle. Its a big purchase. They make me feel like I’m Not just another car going through the door!!! thank you Benz and Beamer sincerely Frank

It should be noted that this customer purchased a 2013 BMW X3 with 92,909 miles. At the time that she purchased the vehicle, she was offered the option to purchase an extended service contract to protect the vehicle beyond the 90 day/3,000 mile limited warranty that we provided with the vehicle. She declined to do so. It was only after the limited 90 day warranty expired that her vehicle apparently needed serious repair. This is unfortunate but can happen with vehicles that are 8 years old with over 90,000 miles. Even though Certified Benz & Beemer had no liability on this, we still tried to assist this customer with her situation. (Unfortunately, over time it has become more clear that our willingness to help this customer has been construed by her that we did something wrong). Be that as it may, we offered to find another cost-effective engine to replace the one in her vehicle. We offered to do so at our cost and then install it for her at a discounted rate. Alternatively, we offered to purchase her vehicle back for a price that CBB could get at an auto auction in its present state. Nevertheless, she declined those offers and insisted that we reimburse her in full after she had the vehicle for almost a year. After she hired an attorney, CBB continued to try to resolve the dispute with her. We even went to mediation in an effort to do so. However, this customer demanded that we purchase her vehicle back at the price she paid for it which is simply not reasonable after she had the vehicle for almost a year. We do our best to make our clients happy as our 9,000 reviews on DealerRater will attest, Unfortunately, we were unable to do so with this customer. Sincerely, Jack Schneider, Owner

Certified Benz & Beemer's response is an attempt to justify stealing money from a customer, I. TRUTH: service appointment made on September 21, 2019; car purchased June 25, 2019 - within the 3 months, and about 2400 miles. Smoke started on date of purchased. CBB misdiagnosed it as temperature sensor problem. Eventually, car's, now a smoke cloud, diagnosed as timing chain failure by BMW North Scottsdale. CBB towed my car from BMW N. Scotts to replace timing chain in the belief of it having "Lifetime Warranty." I DID NOT ASK CBB TO DO MECHANICAL WORK on my car - nor CBB asked me to provide proof of extended warranty prior to that. FACT: metal shavings fell into the engine while replacing the timing chain...and CBB refuses to be responsible for ruining the engine. While my car was being diagnosed and then serviced continuing at CBB, I was provided a "Loaner Car," which I paid for ($847 CBB Advantage good through 6/25/2020). CBB towed the "Loaner" away from my home and left me on foot. I never asked CBB to purchase my car back. I asked them to reimburse me for damaging the engine (refurbished quote $9774). CBB ONLY OFFERED $3000. Later, CBB offered me $5,000 with the stipulation that I remove my online reviews.
Dealing with CBB has cost me additional $2000 attorney fees, totaling $18,623, half the cost of a used 2020 BMW 3X with about 15,000 miles. To date, CBB HAS NOT refunded me a single penny.

from CBB. As in the prior 2 instances, the experience went very smoothly. Jack and Mark run a fantastic operation in Scottsdale Arizona. It says something that I purchase cars from Arizona while being a California resident and it speaks to the quality of their product and more importantly the quality of their service. Jeff H was my dealer representative in this instance and he went above and beyond the call, calling me on his days off and at other times in which he wasn't at work to ensure the process was going well. He personally took video and photo of the car that I was looking at and other options and was extraordinarily patient with me as I worked through the different options for different vehicles I was considering. I was never rushed pressured or hurried in any way; in fact we started the process in March and I didn't conclude it until July. At no point in time did I ever feel any high pressure sales tactics. CBB pricing is straightforward and there's a clear and easy way to navigate their website to expand or limit your search depending upon the needs you have for the vehicle in question. Jeff was there the whole time to walk me through any questions I had and if there was something that wasn't covered online he quickly confirmed information. I have now purchased a BMW Mercedes Benz and most recently an Audi and I am very pleased with the quality of the cars and the level of customer service I received from everybody at CBB. Paul in financing was particularly helpful in getting me what I needed in order to qualify for the loan and worked me through different scenarios to find something that made sense. Other colleagues of Paul assisted whose names I forget and my apologies for that but the entire finance team at CBB does a great job to ensure that everybody finds a way to be able to finance their vehicle . Going back to Jeff, he was also able to give me detailed information on the available warranty and other perks that the purchase of the particular car would have. Over all my third experience with CBB went as smoothly as my prior to experiences. In all honesty I will probably never buy a car from anyone other than CBB again for the rest of my life. Extraordinarily hassle free shopping, reasonable pricing and complete transparency along with unparalleled service and a wide variety of luxury vehicles as they are not beholden to only sell one brand of car.

If you buy a warranty from them, you might want to read the First Extended Warranty in DETAIL before you sign the purchase or the warranty, if you bought one... I am sure the Finance Manager DID NOT tell you that the warranty only covers up to the purchase price. They hid that vital fact from me and my son when we purchase a vehicle from them and now the warranty is of no use because we maxed out the policy limit... if they did not tell you that vital information, you might want to re-think the purchase of both the vehicle and warranty...
NO ONE and I MEAN NO ONE sits there a reads every single line from the warranty to the contract to the terms from the financing end...
It should have been the FINANCE manager to forthcoming about hte ONE LINE that states, Policy will be maxed out at the purchase price...
When you call and state your case to Jack Schnieder, he puts the FULL blame on the purchaser... Had i been told that the WARRANTY not only had a MILEAGE limit, TIME from limit, AND a DOLLAR AMOUNT LIMIT capped at the purchase price and that all other repairs would not be honored when that threshold had been reached, NOT ONLY would i have not bought the warranty, I WOULD NOT HAVE EVER BOUGHT THAT CAR or any car from them... WARRANTY is a limited warranty, based on time and mileage, and I have never seen a WARRANTY limited on $$ cap limit...Jack goes as far to insult me and my son... I wonder if his son Brandon whom works at the dealership treats the customer in a shiesty and dishonest way KNOWING that they sell a warranty that has a cap limit on warranty based on the purchase price? If they do know they should have told the customer, and if the finance manager knows, they they should have said that in conjunction with the other outstanding aspects of the warranty, ie: mileage, length of warranty, ans a sad story about what happens when not if the car breaks down and leaves your loved ones stranded, that an extended warranty will cover all repair cosst stated in the contract, but fail to disclose the $$ cap...
IN CONCLUSION:
MAKE SURE YOU ASK ABOUT THE WARRANTY for the MILEAGE, TIME FRAME, and DOLLAR CAP AMOUNT... If they don't tell you or lie to you, call them out on it and decided for yourself if you really want to do any business with them...
I have purchase over 57 cars in my lifetime and bought many warranties from the used vehicles, and speaking with my LOCAL dealerships here, whom also sell the FIRST EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY warranty, never experienced this and will now not be using FESC warranty.

Dear North Star Builders:
Frankly, I was surprised to receive this review in light of our recent discussion in which we reviewed your issues concerning the vehicle that you purchased back in 2016 for $16,500.00 which had exceeded the cap limit of the vehicle service contract that was purchased at that time. Most vehicle service companies in the industry limit the total amount of coverage under their policies to the amount of the purchase price of the vehicle. They do this in order to make the cost of the policy more affordable. After all, if there was no limit on the total amount of the repairs, the vehicle service companies could have significant exposure that they would have to cover with much higher premiums. In your case, based on what you shared in our conversation, in the last 4 years plus, you have now exceeded the $16,500.00 limit from the contract and you take issue that the contract should still cover your repairs. I requested that you send me something that supports your position why the service contract should continue to cover your claim and that I would review your support and respond to you within 24 hours. Instead, you have elected to post this review. I remain willing to consider the information that supports your position. Sincerely, Jack Schneider, Owner

First of all I checked with every single dealership in my hometown in El Paso and Las Cruces. I have done numerous transactions with those dealerships. and not one of them has sold a warranty that has a cap on it. Each and every one of the finance officers there told me specifically that it is the duty of the finance manager while selling you an insurance policy for the warranty is required by law to point out the obvious. Such as the time of the warranty by link, the miles of warranty total, and if there was an exclusion, that exclusion needs to be made. Your finance manager failed to do his job. While me and my son sat there in your office of the finance department your finance manager wholeheartedly said this warranty will cover you for everything top to bottom side to side back to front. he made no exclusions. Not only that but he told us both that for instance let's say the engine went out and the engine would cost you $18,000 to replace because BMW cars are very expensive to replace parts, you would be covered with only $100 deductible. Now if that was true which is an outright lie according to you there was a cap limit, and although there might be a one-line sentence in there about a cap limit base to the price of the car. No one and I mean no one ever reads every single line in a warranty contract. You and I both know that. What you're trying to do is hide behind a single one line item that was not acknowledged to us when we purchased the warranty. Had your finance manager been truthful instead of shady and bait and switch, we'd would have not bought that warranty. And to go a bit further we would not have bought that vehicle knowing that the price of the vehicle had hefty repair cost. That is the only reason that we decided to go through with the purchase because of the warranty. The warranty would cover us for 4 years 60,000 miles. I find that unacceptable warranty but I find it very unacceptable for you to not disclose in the hundreds and hundreds of lines of text in that warranty contract that there was a cap limit. And if there was a cap limit, there should have been aligned right next to that one line sentence that said this warranty will be no in void after this repairs reach $16,500. That is called being truthful to your buyers. What I suggest you do is survey every single customer that buys that first extended Service corporation warranty oh, and see if they were told that there's a cap limit on it, and I bet you not one of them, not one of them I would say they were informed that there was a cap limit and I bet you start getting bad reviews by selling a warranty that becomes useless. The warranty companies take a gamble that if you never use their warranty that that's the money that they get to keep, and if there warranties are used excessively they're guarded by the mileage and the date oh, it's not my fault that it cost $18,000 for an engine, that your warranty company will not cover because there's a cap of 16500 just like any insurance company they tell you there's cops on the warranties/policy that you get that tells you 25 thousand per incident or $50,000 per. Everyone gets that. But don't try to trick your customers into buying a warranty that is untruthful. You and I both know the customers wouldn't buy their warranty and you wouldn't get your payment for that said sale of the warranty. and if you're going to mention our conversation that we had let me mention to the facts of the public knows, you're condescending. You wouldn't be talking that way to me if I were trying to buy that car in the very beginning. You would push for every single opportunity to make outhouse it's a luxury beautiful well-maintained card was. I have learned in the last 2 weeks that the car was actually in an auto accident that was not disclosed to us when we purchased the vehicle I don't know if it was intentional undisclosed by you or the previous owner but I have taken it back to BMW of El Paso for which it sits there accruing a $75 a day storage fee that will be directed towards you and your corporation for failure to do what's right. In addition the turbos need to be replaced those are $11,500. The car is inoperable, and trust me like I told you on the phone and I'll tell your general public who's reading these reviews, do not buy a first extended Service corporation warranty. It is a total scam. For instance is somebody to buy a used BMW from you for $8,000 oh, and a BMW 328i engine would cost $11,600 to replace, the warranty wouldn't cover it because of a cap limit of $8,000 purchase price but your salesman, and your finance manager fail to tell your customers the full on truth of what the warranty will not cover. That is a vital part of the transaction for selling a vehicle and for selling a warranty. I have bought over 27 cars in my lifetime and I've never come across this in my life. You sir need to get your business straight. I'm not like other businesses and other customers I will take this to the very end to make sure that your company will follow through and replace those turbos. in addition the warranty company is throwing your company straight under the bus. They're stating that it was all your decision and none of theirs. That every single time to use that warranty that it was directed towards your department at your store at your location that have made the decision whether or not to do the repairs. They are just a third-party servicer that gets paid a small fee. So this is where we stand fix it or feel the wrath of what will be coming next.

I found my dream car on their listing which was 1970 Corvette Convertible. After I had my eyes on it for 2~3 weeks and I sent an email at night soon as my wife gave me an OK. On-line service contacted me even after the business hours and I gave her some basic information. I've got an email from Shea the sales rep who helped, gave all the information I needed to make the decision since I live in California and the car was in Arizona. After few conversation, he Video recorded the vehicle and sent it over the phone so I can see it and explained about the purchasing process and warranty. Since this Old car wasn't his specialty he wasn't fully knowable about the car, but he was able to find the answers for me after we hung up the phone. After reviewing the video clip and talking with Shea, I decided to purchase the car and bought the one way flight ticket to Arizona. The dream car was ready to go when I arrived at the dealer. I test drove the car and confirmed the purchase. It was a very friendly environment with no hassle to bargain. In fact I was impressed with so many high-end vehicles that had in stock. Who knows I might come back for my wife's first Land Rover. Fully knowing that I would be driving this 50 years old car to California, they double made sure that everything is better than OK. He mentioned Jack owner insisted to change one part that didn't really needed to.. but just in case. It's the little thing that shows the difference in sales and service industry and I believe they have it. yes, I would recommend this dealer and hope you too buy your dream car of your life!
