2017 Sonic Purchase We had a really easy, hassle free experience with our salesman, Chris. We had gotten into a car accident Tuesday, discovered the vehicle and came We had a really easy, hassle free experience with our salesman, Chris. We had gotten into a car accident Tuesday, discovered the vehicle and came in Friday evening to see it, and purchased it the next day. On the third day of having the vehicle, we realized there is pretty substantial body damage on the bottom of the passenger side door. Our car was previously a rental vehicle, so someone must have drove up pretty hard on a curb or against a pole, as the paint is scratched off and the body really dented in. We didn't realize this initially as no picture of this was on the website nor was it disclosed to us. We also saw our vehicle the first time in the evening and purchased it on a really cloudy, rainy day. We have had our car for a little over two weeks, and we already have it in getting serviced in a certified Chevy dealer by us due to a bad sensor impacting the thermostat. This issue was discovered a few days after purchase, but we had to wait to get an appointment at this dealer for service. We would recommend Phillips, but we will definitely be much more diligent in questioning and inspecting a vehicle next time. UPDATED REVIEW: Almost immediately after posting our initial review, Andy from Phillip's contacted us regarding the damage to the body of the car. He asked if we'd be able to bring the car in for them to fix, no charge. Phillip's states that they want you to be completely satisfied, and we definitely agree with them following that statement. This was something we do not feel would have happened at any other dealer. We would definitely return here for their dedication to customers. More

He has treated us like family every single time we are here and has never pushed us on our purchase. He listens to what you are looking for and works with you. We will always remain Phillips Chevrolet customers and would highly recommend this facility, and Rami, for anyone in the market for a vehicle. More

Get it in writing Took their word that they would take care of part of the car that I had concerns about from beginning of a used car buy. Should have gotten it in writing and been very specific. I didn't think "if there is a problem bring it in and we will take care of it" meant, we will fix anything but at your cost. Professional dealership just should not have relied on verbal and handshake. Sales and service staff don't always mean the same thing when they say the will take care of it.
