Total Life Savers! Model Service Department. Not enough laudations for the Service Department. Visiting from St. Louis. Pulling out of a mall at 4:00 pm on a Saturday the "Check Charge Service" Not enough laudations for the Service Department. Visiting from St. Louis. Pulling out of a mall at 4:00 pm on a Saturday the "Check Charge Service" light comes on my TL dashboard. We drove to a nearby Acura dealership. I walked in and explained, family in tow. The dealership's management staff basically shrugged and directed us to an auto parts store down the road. Replaced the battery and warnings were still on. That night I went On Line and found an Acura chat site. An empathetic presence that proved very helpful. Shortly after the chat I received a call from Larry Jones, the service manager at Columbus Acura (in Dublin, OH). Just his call was reassuring on a Saturday night. It was clear we could not drive home to St. Louis the next day as planned. Larry and I texted back and forth on Sunday and he directed me to bring our TL to the Service Department first thing Monday morning. We packed our car and got to the dealership at 6:45 am. At 7:15 am Chris Diglia welcomed us to his desk. He was fully briefed about our situation prior to our arrival and led us to the waiting area. A receptionist (I forgot her name - very nice) set us up with coffee and we ate our breakfast in the waiting area. In 45 minutes Chris presented us with a multi-point check report and informed us that our alternator was not functioning. He gave us the quote and a 90 minute length of time needed to replace our faulty alternator. Our car was received at 7:15 am for an expedited repair and we were on the road back to St. Louis at 9:24 am! EVERY member of the staff that dealt with us were attentive, welcoming and comforting. The entire company exuded professionalism and confidence. If we lived in Columbus we would purchase a car from Columbus Acura if for no other reason than the service department and the positive vibe elicited by the staff. Additionally, as we occupied the waiting area, we witnessed other clients being treated with the same attention, respect, transparency and professionalism as my wife and I. To us this appears to be the norm. Thank you Columbus Acura for reminding us that there are businesses that do welcome the stranger. Among the good family memories associated with our trip, you will be mentioned as another positive experience in Columbus, Ohio. More

They don't waste your time! I shopped around for tires and Acura of Columbus was surprisingly competitive. The person i spoke with offered to provide a loaner vehicle as soon as I shopped around for tires and Acura of Columbus was surprisingly competitive. The person i spoke with offered to provide a loaner vehicle as soon as i mentioned scheduling around my work hours. When i got there i just dropped off the car with a valet person, walked in the first door and in less than 5 minutes i was walking out with a (free of charge) 2018 Acura loaner key and got to work at my normal time. Jami was awesome. Picking up was equally seamless... just drove the loaner to the valet, walked in, paid the bill and one of their people brought the (just washed) car to the door for me to jump in and drive off. Don't think I've ever had to spend so little time waiting and messing with administrative stuff as i did with this visit. Easily worth the extra $50-100 over what the bargain tire shops were going to charge! More

Timely, Thorough. Jami in my experience has been thorough, responsive and things get done right the first time. I needed to get a key made for our 2010 TSX, and on the way in got a low pressure indicator light on the dash. I called Jami, and they checked out the tires (I had a nail), brakes, (which I had asked them to do-which didn’t need work right now), and recommended a radiator flush, which I had them do, and was out of there in less than an hour and a half-which I was super pleased with. My car was washed too. Great experience! More

My car broke down and had to be towed to dealership My car was repaired in 48 hours and it only took that long because a part had to be ordered. There was a little issue when I picked it up and I took it back early Monday and it was resolved in 90 minutes. I was treated with respect and felt like an important customer. More

Always willing to go the extra mile We have had our MDX into this dealership a few times now and they are always willing to help and really dig into the problem, even if they don’t find We have had our MDX into this dealership a few times now and they are always willing to help and really dig into the problem, even if they don’t find it the first time they always call and ask for more details and then go back and look for the problem some more. We did not buy our MDX from this dealership but will never buy another Acura from any other location. Great service staff and really make for a great experience. More

Takes Care of the Customer Acura Columbus took care of our vehicle and had the best interests in mind for us/their customer when a significant repair came up. Instead of letting Acura Columbus took care of our vehicle and had the best interests in mind for us/their customer when a significant repair came up. Instead of letting the warranty company choose a direction which may not have been the best route for us or the car, Acura stepped in and made sure right thing was done. The Service department (Jami M) was knowledgeable and fought for us. More

Bad Alternator resulted in Good Repair Experience A bad alternator on my 8YO TSX left me stranded but after towing to Acura Columbus it was diagnosed quickly and repaired that day. I appreciated the service department completing the work that day without an appointment. While a loaner vehicle was not available, they provided me with a shuttle ride and the driver (Ed) noticed that where the towing company left my car, one wheel up was up on a curb. He immediately stopped and called for help to have it properly parked with all 4 wheels on the ground so the suspension would not be overstressed. Just another example of the detail to service provided by Acura Columbus. More
