When looking for a very specific used vehicle in my area, I saw exactly what I wanted at this dealership. It was a 2.5-hour drive, and not wanting to waste time driving down for nothing, I decided to researc I saw exactly what I wanted at this dealership. It was a 2.5-hour drive, and not wanting to waste time driving down for nothing, I decided to research the top rated salesperson at this dealership (Gregg Bain) and reached out. Gregg replied almost instantly, and he referred me to Jason Keith since he was off the next day. Jason worked with me to negotiate a fair price by phone, and they even were able to hold the car for me and let me drive down in a few days to finalize the purchase. Jason let me test drive the car, take as much time as I needed to look over everything, and answered all of my questions. His honesty, integrity, and commitment to the customer is absolutely outstanding. He made sure the process went smoothly and that I could get the exact car I was looking for. My experience with Jason was so great that I would go out of my way to drive back here for future cars. The finance guy, Alfred Polk, did a good job. This was my first experience at a car dealership, so I must admit, I was worried about the pressure that inevitably comes from the finance people. Alfred did his job in trying to sell me a warranty, but he was kind and professional and respected my decision to decline the warranties. My only complaint here is that the warranty prices are rolled into the monthly payment, leaving you to do the math on what the real cost of the warranty is. I'm sure that if I asked him for the total cost, he would be happy to tell me, but I wish this dealership presented this info more transparently like they give you the total price of the car with any addons before going to the finance room. Once I declined the warranties, Alfred sped through the numbers a bit faster than I was comfortable with. I slowed down for a second and took my time looking over the final invoice, which he let me do without any issues. Overall, for my first dealership experience, Toyota of Cleveland went above and beyond. I did a lot of research on shady practices to look out for at the dealership, tricks that salespeople/finance people might try, and just tips to make sure that I ended up with a good outcome. I'm happy to say that I saw little to none of these shady practices that dealerships sometimes do, and Toyota of Cleveland definitely stands out as the best place to buy your car. More
