Bait & Switch Pricing The internet advertised prices are what brought us to Criswell; however after realizing the prices include rebates that most people don't qualify for, The internet advertised prices are what brought us to Criswell; however after realizing the prices include rebates that most people don't qualify for, I was ready to leave. From that point on, it was the typical, dreaded car-buying experience -- haggling, back and forth, drawn out negotiations. After we expressed distaste with the pricing strategy and said we wanted to look at a different model of vehicle, the sales rep, Joey, seemed annoyed and couldn't locate the one vehicle in the next level down trim model (the cheaper one). I was perplexed, to say the least, that on such a large lot they only had one LS model and he couldn't even locate it! When they low-balled our trade by about $2,000, Joey recommended we go to CarMax. Miraculously, when we decided to buy there, they gave us what we wanted for the trade. We ultimately bought the mid-level model at more than we really wanted to pay. In the finance office, things were no better. Although the rep was pretty quick, since we were in a time crunch, nothing was transparent and I found out, after the fact, that we didn't get the lowest rate possible even though I mentioned an employee rate with a particular bank. We were not given the employee rate. My credit score is high enough to qualify for any rate (I just got a 0% special with Toyota yesterday), so that was not the issue. The whole experience just seemed shady. After receiving an email from the GM requesting feedback, if we couldn't rate our experience as "completely satisfied", I responded and explained why we were not completely satisfied. The response from the GM was quite lacking. He explained that all dealers in the area price that way, and cited specific competitive dealers. A quick internet search showed those dealers' prices to be in line with MSRP so it doesn't look like they implore the same pricing strategy. In fact, I purchased a new vehicle from one of the competitors he mentioned 3 years ago, and did not experience the bait & switch pricing. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend this dealer to anyone! I regret the fact that we bought from them. More

Buying my Camaro SS was a great experience! I was very impressed with Criswell staff in general and with my salesperson (Jason Garry) in particular. Everyone there is very customer focused and I was very impressed with Criswell staff in general and with my salesperson (Jason Garry) in particular. Everyone there is very customer focused and take their time to make sure you are comfortable with the process finding the vehicle that fits you. Jason Garry is a walking resource for all aspects of car performance and reliability. He did research prior to my visits to make sure he covered my questions fully from previous conversations and had the cars ready for inspection and test driving. Jason is also fun to be around while you are learning about your prospective vehicle. His enthusiasm for the vehicles he is explaining is contagious and he really knows the specs and pros/cons for each model. I would highly recommend working with Jason Garry to find the car/truck for you! Jason Witte (sales manager) was also very helpful, working with my salesman and me for the absolute best price and Jackie Wells also was a pleasure to work with in finance to find the best loan and financial arrangements. I highly recommend Criswell Chevrolet! More

Very Happy This was my first time buying a new car and I was worried about feeling "pressured" - not the case at all here. Stefan was friendly and professional, and able to answer all the questions I had. Between explaining different incentives and the features of the car, to say he went above and beyond would be an understatement. The other staff I dealt with - Jason and Swann - only added to a great experience with a friendly team. I wouldn't even be able to find any negatives in my experience with them...I am just genuinely happy that my first new car purchase went this smoothly. More

Totally Happy I spent far too much time comparing dealerships in the area. I should have just come here in the first place. Abe was great from the start and, despit I spent far too much time comparing dealerships in the area. I should have just come here in the first place. Abe was great from the start and, despite my being an Eagles fan, he gave me a great price on a brand new LTZ. I never felt like I was being manipulated like I did at every other dealership I visited, and even when it looked like I wasn't going to purchase from Criswell Abe continued providing me with great service. In fact, when I thought I was going to purchase elsewhere (only because of my very specific wants), I made a trip up to Criswell specifically to meet Abe because he had been so helpful to me and my wife. When we purchased, Jason and Steve were great as well. I never once felt the stereotypical pressure dealerships are supposed to apply, and financing was a breeze. In the end, I came back to Criswell and I'm glad I did. I'd happily recommend Abe and Criswell to any of my friends looking for a new vehicle. More

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; fair price. Russell Carter is one of the best, and nicest, sales persons with whom I have ever worked in finding and buying a car. Jason Witte, the General Sales Manager, was also very accommodating. Jackie Wells was great to work with in terms of the financing and completion of the sale. The service department is also great! This was the second vehicle we purchased at Criswell Chevy in the past 18 months, and both times it was a good experience. More

However, there was one huge bump in the road finding the car I was looking for. The person who was in charge of locating my car (Steve Mcclay) is a liar and talks to customers like he has the "I don't care" attitude. He displays poor communicate skilled and attitude which should be Unexceptable.. . After a week and a few days went by and I was ready to walk due to Steve's lies and the "I don't care attitude", Jason had to step in, who found my car and I had it in a day and a half! Thank you Jason.. I am sorry for anyone who has to deal with Steve Mcclay. More

Excellent team! I've visited a couple of dealerships in the area for the past month; but this one in particular was the best! All three staff members (Anthony Dean, J I've visited a couple of dealerships in the area for the past month; but this one in particular was the best! All three staff members (Anthony Dean, Jason Witte and Jackie Wells) I met were very friendly, professional and very helpful. The customer service was excellent! By the time I showed up to the dealership everything was done and ready to go. Extremely efficient. From the moment I started emailing Anthony about what I was looking for and needed car wise, he was very helpful and knowledgable. I definately recommend him as a sales consultant. This team has definately made a new Chevrolet happy customer for life! More
