Great Experience! I purchased a 2017 Explorer off of Blaine & Joe on Friday. I thought it was going to be a complicated deal because I was trading in two vehicles. This is now my third vehicle I have purchased from Carman Ford in the last two years and they have a customer for life! More

Only Place I've Bought a Car Twice I leased a Fusion from Carman back in 2014 and had a great experience so I decided to try a Carman again. The second time was just as great an experience as the first. Zach Lopes was a great help in getting me into the car I was looking for. I told him the price range I wanted to stay around and he didn't press me to get into something out of that range. He was extremely professional and the customer service was outstanding. Joe Giacchino was the Sales Manager while I was there and he answered everything I asked him without a bunch of ambiguity. Him and Zach worked really well as a team and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. It was honestly a great sales experience. Erwin Lee helped me with the financing and he was fantastic. Despite him being there for 12 hours that day and me being there just before close, he had a great presence and made the paper signing experience just as good as the sales experience. This is the second time I've had this type of experience at Carman, so I know it's not a fluke. Whatever they are doing at Carman, other car dealers need to mimic. This is a great place to purchase a car. More

Don't Bother Scheduling a Test Drive I came to this dealer from 2 hours away. In order to avoid any issues, I've scheduled a test drive for two cars a week in advance. When I walked into I came to this dealer from 2 hours away. In order to avoid any issues, I've scheduled a test drive for two cars a week in advance. When I walked into the store, the person that I was scheduled with didn't even bother to show up and they had no clue which cars that I wanted to test drive, even though I had scheduled it a week in advance. A salesman who was taking care of us immediately asked us if we were going to make a decision today. Since we had other test drives scheduled with other companies, we said no, and his attitude changed drastically from that point. He said "let's make this as quick as possible" and drove us to a Walmart parking lot and have us drive the car back to the dealer from there. After test driving the first car, we told him that we still wanted to test drive the second car. Again, even though I had this scheduled a week ago with specific models, they didn't know, or they didn't care, which car that I wanted to test drive, and showed us a random one, but the same model, on the lot and he said that the tank would be empty in 2 miles since the car just arrived at the dealer. This combined with the uncomfortable seats in the second car, we decided not to test drive it. After all of this, he comes to us and offers a "today only" price, like all the things I just mentioned did not happen. We told them that we narrowed down our decision to a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and a Ford F-150, and he says, in a condescending tone, "ohh you're not ready at all then". I am assuming he said this because they are two different kind of vehicles, but I could consider a mustang vs. a ford F-150 and that's the reason customers test drive the cars after all, to see if they like the way a car drives. Both cars might have positives and negatives. Towards the end of our time at this dealership, we asked if we could get a copy of the detailed price sheet he got for us in case we decide to go with the F-150 model after test driving the Jeep Wrangler at a different place, and he said that, "there is no need to copy, you can just keep it, because you won't be buying the car till July". We never said anything like this, I told him that I would finalize my decision before the Summer, and I am still planning to buy the car in May. But obviously not from this dealer anymore. My suggestion is that, don't judge your customers based on if they're going to buy the car the same day or not. More

As it was my sons first big purchase, Chris included me in the conversation and allowed me to voice my input. Although it was my sons decision I respected Chris's approach. I showed interest in a used truck, but Chris, through his research offered me alternative that could better suit my interest. I stayed with Chris as my sales professional for the way he treated my son. Chris worked with me and did not push too far, he respected my point of view and where my thought process and position I took on looking for a vehicle. I will recommend Chris to my friends who are looking for a new or used vehicle. More

June 28, 2016 I was recently in an auto accident and vehicle totaled. I've always purchased my vehicles from a dealership in BelAir, MD.. I decided to visit Carman Ford due to their great reviews about their sales staff. Prior to my arrival to the dealership, I emailed about a vehicle, I received a quick and welcoming email reply. The same day it was followed up with a friendly call from Brett, the amazing customer service made up my mind to visit sooner than later to see the vehicle which I was interested, although I was still healing and recovering. The same day I went and met with Joseph Giacchino who was concerned about my injuries more than selling me a car. Joe suggested picking me up at a later date when I felt better to see & test drive interested vehicles. Joe's concern and attentive behavior was truly refreshing and appreciative. I researched other dealerships and vehicles online to visit. I was won over from the email, phone call and excellent and efficient customer service by Joe Giacchino. I did purchase a vehicle after my 2nd visit with Joe the next day painful injuries and all. Awesome customer service; great prices which are comparison to Kelly Blue Book; provided informative vehicle history and convenient and quick process in obtaining a vehicle. He was never pushy and was a true professional in guiding me through the experience - from my first test drive to my first day of ownership. During the period after I placed the order, he was always patient and helpful and if he didn't have the answer, Todd Brabender was there to assist. Their pricing was very fair and the entire experience was a positive one. I highly recommend asking for Joe! More
