Unfortunately we here at Kelly Nissan never want to see a customer have a problem before or after their vehicle has been repaired. We could not authorize towing until the cause of failure was determined. Once determined the vehicle was repaired in about 2 hours and customer was reimbursed for towing. The customer returned about 2 weeks later complaining of a drivability concern. The vehicle was diagnosed at no charge to customer as a goodwill gesture. After review of the repair/diagnosis the customer stated they did not want to repair the vehicle at this time. When picking up the vehicle your husband stated we had cracked the windshield. After inspecting the windshield it was determined that there was a chip in the glass that had turned into a crack. A chipped windshield could develop a crack at any time - and often when you least expect it as stated on the Safelite Auto Glass Website. Not unusual for a vehicle 8 years old with 80,000 miles to get a chip in the windshield. Water lies in that spot, freezes, heater/ defroster is turned on, and windshield starts to crack. What was unusual was the customer reaction, when we stated that we didn’t feel we were responsible for the crack. They are correct that he flipped out. He was yelling, screaming, ranting, and not open to any dialogue whatsoever. We had to encourage several customers in our showroom NOT to call the police; we felt this would have escalated the situation. At times in life and business unfortunately we all agree to disagree, but nothing can be resolved without a rationale dialogue. Unable to have that dialogue, though we still disagreed on who was responsible for the cracked windshield we replaced it to resolve the customers concern. My comments to your husband were as follows... I expressed that it may be best for us not to do business together in the future, if he is unwilling to have a calm conversation, focused on resolving any and all issues or concerns. We at Kelly Nissan wish you and your husband much success in the future with the next dealership you choose to work with.

This is not true, there was no chip or crack my windshield. If your service area is Hing to be dishonest then yes, my husband should have flipped out and what's right is right. I know you want to make your company look good and only print good reviews but you are wrong. I will continue to use any other dealership and let people know if my experiences with this service area.

Also, the car was inspected 1 days prior to going to you facility at Nissan on 15 th street and no crack was noted. My husband also stated to show him other cars in your lot with a cracked windshield and he would have left and you have older nissans in your lot older than my car with more mileage but no crack. Why if according to the auto glass company there should be cracks??? Your service area needs improvement. We as humans will go off when we feel we are being taken advantage of by anyone. Maybe he could have handled it better if your staff had good customer service. Your staff was rude from the start.

Thanks for coming back in to the dealership on Friday March 1st, at 5:15 pm. We repaired your leaking tire pressure monitor on the right rear tire. The monitor was not part of tire replacement but probably started leaking because of some built up corrosion on valve stem. We feel badly you've had issues so quickly after recent service and this is not ordinarily the case. We've put $50.00 on your account towards customers next service visit as a goodwill gesture. Customer satisfaction is number one at Kelly Nissan.
