Oil change and problem with my headlights. Normally I am completely satisfied with DeNooyer's Service Depart. On Friday, May 11th, I took my car in for an oil change and problem with headlight Normally I am completely satisfied with DeNooyer's Service Depart. On Friday, May 11th, I took my car in for an oil change and problem with headlights. I have had my lights on Auto since I purchased my car in April 2017. Lights have always been on day and night. After taking my car in for recall of bolts for engine and transmission, my lights have not been on at all in Auto. This may have had nothing to do with the recall repair, but that is when this issue started. The Auto dimming indicator also showed on my dash. This feature I was unaware of. it kept blinking on and off and then my auto lights were not on at all. I read in the manual this Auto dimming had to be turned off during day for daytime running lights. Still no auto lights. I called right away and the service man (I think was Chris, not sure) said oh yes the Auto dimming is a good feature, not listening to my problem. I brought it in for service and again told them about my lights issue. They told me I had it turned off. I got in my car to go home and no lights were on. I pulled back in and told them. He came back out and said it was too sunny out. I asked why they have been on all the time since I owned my car and what was the purpose of daytime running lights? He insisted the sensor was saying too bright out. It was raining the other day, no sun in the sky, no lights. Last night I was out until after 8pm, no lights, again very cloudy. I am very frustrated! I want my lights on auto so I do not have to remember to turn them off and they are always on. Even though I am female I do know what I am talking about. I think I would know if my light indicator was on my dash all this time and my lights have been onl. More

Truck service I bring my Silverado in for service as I am passing through Albany on my way upstate or down to Long Island. The service rep dealing with us was very polite, however We don't have issues with the service people we spoke to at all. John Cordi was very pleasant. The issue is overall. The service potentially needed was similiar to service we just had done last year at a large expense. We were leery of moving forward. We asked for a Salesman/Manager to call us about a trade in- nothing. Had to call a couple of times over a couple of days and still did not get a call back to discuss a trade in and purchase of the other vehicle we were already in the need for. Nothing. Was promised a call from Service Manager and did not receive. Picked up the car and took to another Chevy dealer. When we got home, there was a msg from a sales person sometime after 4:30 . We left our cell number (John circled our number on the slip and confirmed it was the best number for us). When I called service to say we were picking up the car, the woman who answered asked me if we received a call that it was ready. I said no, we hadn't had service, we needed to pay for the diagnostic charges and I mentioned that we had called several times to speak to a sales manager about a trade in she simply replied, "oh okay, if you can try to make it here by 5, because service closes by then". I didn't catch her name. Initially we asked for Steve Gordon, our past Sales Rep but unfortunately he was away. I think if he had been there there would be a different end to this. More
