During the process of negotiating the price of a used Honda CR-V the negotiated price changed 3 times. The price that it started at was $29500, based on JD Power numbers for a retail purchase. I showed on my phone that the price of a CR-V Touring (a much more expensive vehicle) from another dealership was $26500 and that I wasn't going to pay inflated prices for a vehicle that was with high mileage (41675). The average mileage for a 2022 should be between 25000 and 33000 miles. JD Power does NOT factor in mileage in the price whereas Edmunds does. Tommy came to us with his song and dance routine that he incorrectly figured the price based on the price of the Touring vehicle and showed it to us as a bottom line of $26750, out the door. I said at that time, if you make a mistake and already show it to the customer than you accept the consequences for your mistake and make it up on the next sale. After refiguring the price before all taxes and fees starting at $26500 and ending with a bottom line price of I don't remember what, which by that time I was getting furious with the process and should have walked out. But the wife liked the SUV so I stuck it out. Once we got into finance I noticed the numbers had changed again, this time the starting price jumped to $27395. It was late evening of a Saturday and we were anxious to get out since we had been there for more than 6 hours, so I reluctantly signed all the paperwork without properly reviewing it. My Fault. I will probably never buy another vehicle from Shottenkirk Honda and if anyone askes me how was my experience, I'll be sure to tell them. More

This dealer is fairly typical of high-volume dealers, from what I know. I will say they were great to greet me when I arrived, and we were able to work through minor issues during the process of our pic from what I know. I went to a local dealer in my neighboring home town and walked around the lot for close to 30 minutes and not one salesperson came to offer any assistance. Chris Lopez is a pleasure to deal with and he was responsive to our needs as the deal progressed. There were minor challenges, probably due to my not having purchased a brand new car in a very long time, but we worked through them. If I buy a new Honda again I'd definitely consider returning to Shottenkirk Honda of Cartersville. More
