This was a new car purchase experience. An honest, straightforward dealership that doesn't jerk you around. I believe that Ken Garff is the best dealership for Honda vehicles in Utah, after talking to a few of them - and Riverdale is one of their best. Technically I don't usually give 5 stars for stuff. Because 5 stars should be nearly unattainable. But we are taking about CAR DEALERSHIPS here, so I just cannot imagine an amazing car buying experience. I actually had a challenging experience, where they technically would have been able to tell me "tough luck" but they took care of me instead. And for that I had to give them 5 stars. I am from south Salt Lake Valley. I came in with my wife and 2 kids (1 and 4) - after already taking an hour test drive of a Toyota minivan in Salt Lake, and driving an over an hour total already (not including test drives), on the way to visit relatives in Pocatello. Chad for some inexplicable reason which I will always be grateful for, had kept us in mind for a particular minivan, and notified me a week before it showed up - even though we hadn't ordered or put a deposit down - and held it for us until it was ready for us to test drive. So that was really very nice and unexpected! It was truly awesome because somehow the stars aligned and on the same day we were able to test drive a Sienna earlier the same day, as I was unwilling to finalize such a big purchase without test driving ALL the vehicles I was considering - and they were generally months long waits with an order/deposit! We test drove it, and liked it better than the Toyota we'd driven earlier in the day - and decided to make the purchase right then - minivans are still generally a waiting list item these days, we knew if we stewed about it, it would likely be sold in 24-48 hours. Chad was super straightforward, stuck to MSRP, gave me the menu, talked about things - pushed the vehicle service plan a little hard, which I kind of expected and I thought I was ready but I wasn't - because I was expecting them to sell HondaCare, but they sell a different VSC - still a nice comprehensive one (exclusionary) - and gave a good price too. I waffled but my kids were spent and one was screaming so I said yes to more than I really wanted and just signed the paperwork. Since were were headed to Pocatello, Chad said they'd have it gassed up and cleaned up nice for us to pick up on our way back the next day. After researching and talking with my wife, we decided we wanted HondaCare instead, for our own reasons, and use our own insurance for another thing on the menu. But we'd signed - Ken Garff could've technically said - this one is cancellable (VSC) we'll have to cancel it the "hard way" after it goes through, and give the money to your lender, the other in non-cancellable - sorry. But they were actually very accommodating and redid all our paperwork and allowed us to re-do it and remove the items from the sales deal that we had regrets about. I was amazed they did this! Not slimy dealership-like at all. We had to make a second trip due to weekend and financial holiday and stuff to get the signing of the new deal complete after the old one was electronically held - but they did it for us! They earned their doc fee on this one. Another nice thing is that the sales person did all the dealmaking - usually sales passes you to finance which pushes the menu of add-ons - but it was all through Chad, they call it Garff-Ease I think. But we did get a finance guy to get us through all the signing (Josh). They detailed the Odyssey beautifully too, it was really shining, and backed it up to the doors for us to take delivery. That was a nice touch. Our Honda financing has come through as expected, we've received emails regarding other add ons, and everything looks to have been done properly. So kudos to Chad and Brian (sales manager) and Josh (finance) for being willing to rework the deal and treat us respectfully in the process! More

I have to admit that most of my car shopping has been through ordering vehicles from the factory, negotiating the price and extras via text and email, and coming in just to see the vehicle, test drive an through ordering vehicles from the factory, negotiating the price and extras via text and email, and coming in just to see the vehicle, test drive and sign. I loathe having to sit around dealerships for hours working on purchasing a vehicle and rarely buy from the lot. That being said, It was really a pleasure working with Mitch. He wasn't trying to push me into purchasing the Ridgeline. He went over all of the features I requested, went with my wife and I for a test drive to answer questions and after, asked if we were interested in purchasing. Mitch went over the options such as the extended warranty and the pricing. All pretty much seamless, although the paperwork took longer than I expected. I would certainly work with him again and would recommend him to my friends and family looking to purchasing a vehicle from Honda. And I also appreciate the video he sent of the Ridgeline prior to me coming in to view it in person. I want to give kudos to Zach as well as he was the one I initially worked with to purchase the Honda. I asked for rebates comparable to other dealers along the the interest rate, and he kept his word. and also to Marna. Although we didn't work with her on this purchase, we did come in a couple of weeks ago to look at a used Nissan Frontier. she knew we wasn't interested and didn't try to hype up the vehicle in order to get us to buy it. I enjoy working with people who just provide you the info you need and let you make decisions for yourself. More

We purchased a new Honda Passport August 7, 2023 after searching for a Passport for two months. We met with other dealers and completed a test drive, but were unable to purchase the vehicle color and int searching for a Passport for two months. We met with other dealers and completed a test drive, but were unable to purchase the vehicle color and interior we wanted. We stopped at Ken Garff Riverdale as we were returning from an out of town trip. They had a Passport in their inventory that day. They were able to show us the interior colors of Honda (grey vs black) and their effort to show us separate vehicles with different interior colors changed our mind about the color we had wanted. Ultimately we purchased a Passport, felt very good about the purchase, and had a good experience with Jordan. We found Jordan to be honest, pleasant, easy to talk with, and knowledgeable about vehicles. A friend suggested that we visit Ken Garff and now we would do the same if asked. More
