We have reached out to the customer and apologized for the experience that they describe. We have refunded their deposit monies (of which we always do for all of our customers), and we came up with 3 other options on other new vehicles, similar to what they had ordered, that were "in transit" to us as a possibility. They let us know that there were going with a new vehicle that was on the ground already at another dealership, but indicated that they appreciated that we tried to resolve the situation for them. We are truly sorry that this occurred, but we quickly went about trying to make it right for them.

Once your lender did your welcome call with you, you disclosed information to them that THEY decided to withdraw their offer to fund, therefore the vehicle/loan is non-fundable. You are aware of this aspect. At this point, we are in the process of filing a stolen vehicle report with the police department because you are refusing to relinquish our inventory back to us that we own, not you - for all the reasons indicated above. Once this local police report is filed by us, the Illinois police department is ready and willing to retrieve our inventory on our behalf. Once we have our inventory back, and if there are no damages to the vehicle, we will refund your deposit, but not before this occurs.

Thanks for reaching out with your concerns. When are vehicles go through our re-conditioning/inspection process, At that time, tires are inspected for safety reasons, and IF there is still tread left in this regard that is still deemed safe (by the industry), new tires are not installed on every used vehicle that we have. As time and miles accrue, there will be issues with any vehicle that will need addressed by the current owner of that vehicle as well.

McCluskey's service team indicates that they offered a service appointment for the next day after the customers phone call, and that customer was upset that we could not schedule it in, for the same day that the customer called in.
