After reading reviews, I was a little hesitant to try Mac Haik, fearing a bait and switch—because prices were best in area we could find. I took a risk, made the 1.5 hour drive and was prepared to go to war Haik, fearing a bait and switch—because prices were best in area we could find. I took a risk, made the 1.5 hour drive and was prepared to go to war with knowledge of online reviews. I can honestly say, this was smoothest car buying experience I’ve ever had! First, we sold a car through Driveo to get started. While Driveo was assessing vehicle, Jorge started assessing what we needed. He was hustling because we had three different cars in mind, one which was parked in a garage across highway. Jorge answered every question, pulled every vehicle, and let us test whatever without a groan, eye roll, or excuse. While this was going on, the Driveo team came back with an offer that matched their online offer. Within 2 hours, we had a check in our hands from the car from Driveo. When it came down to a vehicle and talking numbers, I asked for a price on a vehicle that I could work with. Jorge didn’t try the usual tricks of “what do you want your car note to be” or “the price is actually X, we are all sold of the prices with that incentive.” He listens to my request and tried to find a way to make it happen. I was waiting for the usual, “ I talked to management and we will meet you half way.” Not only did he meet offer, it was actually better than I asked for! Next up was finance, at which point I was dreading the dealer add-ons, protective shells, etc. that raise the price. Nope, I was given additional packages to purchase but the Finance Manager wasn’t pushy. He even worked with me to fit in some insurance to stay in my budget! All in all, we will be back in a year or two for next vehicle. The team at Mac Haik was attentive, informative, professional, and didn’t play any games. They were worth the drive and I couldn’t recommend the team from Jorge, general manager, finance, and Driveo! More
