I purchased a 2016.5 Chevrolet Cruze in 2018 but last year, had to have the vehicle towed in because the car was stalling, service light was on. This was good news because the harness was not available anywhere, even nationwide, due to the China trade war. After that, I received a call from Tim (branch manager) it was ready to pick up! Great !! Then I received call from Ed Mangus in service stating they found additional damage to piston and cylinder #1, possibly #2. We went back and forth and I was asking why this was not found from the beginning? Did they drive it? The service engine light still had to be on - advised no from Ed – they had to manually push it in. I was feeling something was not right, asked him several times for another service video – took several days and they also provided an estimate for more repairs almost $4000 – I requested detail on parts etc. and that also took several days. Ed stated not to worry - this piston and cylinder problem was common with the Chevrolet Cruze and our warranty would cover it. After going back and forth on that, it was denied due to ‘one’ tire rotation not completed. I called the insurance adjuster to go back out and he also took a picture of current odometer and that is when we found out they put almost put 4 miles while in their possession. … another lie from what he said before... When I brought this to Ed’s attention - I was advised, well they did, they had to test drive it to check the harness wiring .. I made the decision to have it moved because I did not want them touching it any longer. The final bill was wrong, they had extra charges and the insurance company had to intercept on that as well. A service tech was walking by and he asked if I was driving it and I said no – it will be towed. He said good because it shouldn’t be driven. I responded by ‘ YOU ‘ guys drove it almost 4 miles and you are telling ME not to drive it ?' He walked way. The cashier was even shocked and commented, this vehicle only has 65,000 miles and it needs an engine rebuild?? We had it towed to our mechanic that same day and they confirmed engine piston and cylinder crack #1. Possible engine crack. We towed it for a 3rd opinion and advised the same. The car was worth almost nothing now …We have heard first hand, and from too many people I cannot count, the unprofessionalism and shoddy service on how McCluskey ruins vehicles brought in for service. Drove it again same thing. Took it back.they kept it 4 days and put over 100 miles on it and said nothing is wrong with it. The mechanic told me it's got a problem with the lower control arm. But the owners son is now making him say otherwise. They sold us a dangerous car and claim we just don't know how to drive. They don't want to give up repair paperwork you have to fight with them to get your paperwork and then they faulsify the repairs on paper. They tell you one thing but write another. They threatened to void our warranty because I don't believe what they tell me. Don't buy from McCluskey. They are liars and crooks. I have proof. The 48 hr test drive is a lie. They just want your money not your trust. While you wait on them your doing a LEMON stand. Go else where. All evil comes with a smile More

People like the mccluskeys sit upon their untouchable throne. Karma comes around sooner later and all i will have to do is sit and wait. I was raised to treat people right and with respect and you recieve that back obviously no morals taught there.my problem is 2016 chevy cruze with leak and water rolling around in my brand new car and recall on battery. Oh mighty mclusky could not even get me in for service so that big beautiful building and all your special things in your show room doesnot mean anything if you cant treat your customers right. I will not be back for new car there Mike Castrucci is the way to go first class service. Thankyou Mike Castrucci and employees!!!!! More

He has sold me three new vehicles in 2013 alone, he has bent over backwards to accommodate me. I have dealt with a lot of salesmen and I would have to rate him at the top. I don't care who you hire, but Alex is a top notch salesmen. This guy was/has been VERY patient when showing me vehicles and truly acted as if he wasn't so much worried about selling the vehicle, but making sure I bought what I was wanting. I'm sure if you'll check your records you'll see that I've bought over 10 vehicles from McCluskey dating back to 1994. I'll promise you this as long as I can deal with a guy like Alex K. or Eric Bohannon (wonder where he is) I will continue to give you my business. I purchased a 2006 f150 from McCluskey Chevrolet. I was told that it would be checked over thoroughly befor I received it. After getting the vehicle home I raised the hood and found hoses dry rotted. Two told that it would be checked over thoroughly befor I received it. After getting the vehicle home I raised the hood and found hoses dry rotted. Two weeks later they finally fixed the problem. I have had the truck serviced at the dealership since I have owned it. The last time the truck was taken in for an oil change, the service department personel who serviced my truck did not put enough oil in it. It was 2 quarts of oil low. I took the truck back to them for this problem and they could not find anything wrong or could not find out why it used 2 quarts of oil when I took it on vacation. I drove 225 miles to my destination after having the oil changed at their service department and the truck was 2 quarts of oil low when I checked it to drive home. I put 2 quarts of oil in the truck and drove the same route home and did not use any oil. They could not find the reason why it used 2 qrts of oil but did manage to find $1800 dollars worth of other problems my truck had. Now keep in mind that the truck was just in their service department about 3 weeks before that and there was nothing wrong. Needless to say I did not let them work on my truck again. To fix what they said was wrong with my truck cost me less than $250 in parts. After I told them that I did not want them to work on my truck I went and picked it up. When I got it home and looked under the hood, who ever at the service department that diagnosed my truck left to end of my air breather off and 2 of the clamps were gone. So I had to go and get new clamps to fix the problem. All I can say is do not go to this dealership and this is not the only incident that I have had with them. More

My father and I met with Keith McCluskey due to an on-going issue with our vehicle and he set up an appointment, dealt with the issue at hand and took good care of us... Keith went over and beyond his call of duty...he made my car safe for me and my grandkids to drive in again and for this I thank him... Derrick Robinson is a very pleasant individual. When I first met him in the body shop he was very honest about what needed to be done with my vehicle, he talked with Keith and Chuck Maly to make sure the situation was handled. Thank Derrick! Chuck, you called me to let me know up front what I was dealing with and I appreciated that, you took the initiative to make sure my car was safe to drive. Thank you Chuck! More

After having a rough time with the car buying process, we were called into McCluskey Chevrolet by Keith McCluskey himself! I could not believe that Mr. McCluskey would actually take the time to right what he were called into McCluskey Chevrolet by Keith McCluskey himself! I could not believe that Mr. McCluskey would actually take the time to right what he found to be a wrong situation. At first I didn't even believe that it was even him contacting us, but we soon found out that it indeed was! Car dealerships normally have the reputation of being swindlers that only care about a commission; this was my mindset before I experienced true integrity. Mr. McCluskey and Karen Shepherd worked diligently on our issue until we walked out of the door completely satisfied! For a dealership as large as McCluskey Chevrolet to take the time with ONE customer speaks volumes of the character of this company. Our dealings restored my faith in a business that can prove to be a very tricky one! I believe that; even though they may not boast of being a Christian business; the principles of “treat others as you would want to be treated” and “esteem your brother higher than yourself” were clearly at work in our situation. We were treated with the utmost respect and care! We sat in Mr. Mcluskey's office and talked about life! We weren't made to feel as if we were beneath him in anyway, but talked as if we were old friends! Karen Shepherd came down from the Mason office to ensure that we were satisfied! She worked hard to make sure that we had everything that we needed and that the process went smoothly! This was truly a learning experience and a blessing for my family. We walked out of the the doors and a heavy burden was lifted as we embraced our new friends! I even got a little peck on the cheek :), just as sweet as you would give to a family member! I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and I have McCluskey Chevrolet to thank for it! If I could post pictures to this website, I would introduce you to “Justice"...that’s the name of my Candy Apple Red 2010 Chrysler Sebring (BIG SMILE) I would and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND McCluskey Chevrolet!
