I started here at Smythe Volvo at the age of 18 as a porter. Over the last 30 years I became an Apprentice Mechanic, Mechanic, Sales Consultant, Sales Manager, General Manager, Owner then President/CEO. My favorite aspect of working at Smythe Volvo is the interaction with our customers. It's a pleasure to get to know them personally and to see them happy with our level of service. My favorite Volvo model is the 1965 P1800. It's a sporty and extremely durable vehicle that signifies the heritage of Volvo. It's silhouette can be seen in the Smythe Volvo logo. Outside of work my complete focus is on my wonderful wife and six children.

Great experience I thoroughly enjoyed my experience shopping for a car at Smythe. The sales staff was very nice and there was no pressure at all to buy a car from them I thoroughly enjoyed my experience shopping for a car at Smythe. The sales staff was very nice and there was no pressure at all to buy a car from them. I test drove a few modles over the course of a week and made a decision on my own timeframe. No gimmicks or bait and switch tactics. I would recommend you putting Smythe Volvo on your list when comparing car makes and models. More

From the initial discussion, to picking up my new car, the team at Smythe did a great job to make the deal happen quickly. I got a beautiful car at a great monthly rate for 24 months (I will be back for my next car). I highly recommend Smythe Volvo in Summit, NJ, even though I live in Manhattan, it is worth the drive! They were upfront, friendly easy to talk to and most of all; honest. There were NO hard sell tactics. No Disappearing act to go speak with a "manager". Nothing but TRANSPARENCY and HONESTY when working with Eric, Tom and the entire Smythe Team. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be that I probably won't be back to see them that often! I would certainly recommend this dealership and specifically working with Eric to anyone. More

Best Dealership in NJ maybe the USA!!! Kevin Flanagan the owner had to work with the VP of sales for Volvo to correct an ordering error made by the Volvo factory. He corrected the problem and had the car ready for pickup with all the trim replaced with the wood that was ordered from the factory. Ashley was amazing during the delivery process. From every aspect of our interactions, every single person was nice, professional and caring. Every time I called in, the receptionist was nice and each person along the way was wonderful. I was lucky to have Debbie Amster as my salesperson, she understood the delicacies of my situation and worked diligently to make my Volvo dream come true. She also personally handpicked a car for me that I absolutely love. She could not have picked a better car, this was only possible because she listened to every thing I said and knew exactly what I was looking for. Kevin Bergeron helped me through the loan process and was professional and courteous, he was there for me every step of the way. Sean in service went out of his way to answer questions I had and helped me in more ways than I can mention here. The owner personally made me feel comfortable and cared for. I drove from 2 1/2 hours away, past multiple Volvo dealers, one of which is just 20 mins from my house. I will never hesitate to trust this family dealer nor will I take my car buying business elsewhere. I have told my friends and co-workers about my experience with Smythe Volvo and they were all shocked. You cant go wrong to buy a car here. I look forward to working with them in the future and will never buy a car from any other dealer ever again. More
