I like the service and the courtesy they provide. I do have a couple of issues with the service department that I don't understand and would appreciate if someone could explain to me. 1- when they g I do have a couple of issues with the service department that I don't understand and would appreciate if someone could explain to me. 1- when they give me the paperwork and indicate items that need attention, their invoice states "RECOMMENDED NOT DONE / DECLINED SERVICES" it then goes on to list the various areas that need attention. Yet when working on the car they never bring those issues up and ask me I want them done while the car is already there. The first I know of those concerns is when I am picking up the car. If I were to want those services done I have to make another appointment and bring the car in on another day. Why not just at least give me the option of having those things done while the car is already in your shop? 2- When the cabin filter or air filter are checked as part of the oil change service why would they charge me a labor cost if I choose to have them replaced with a new one? They have already removed the old ones to check them and they have to put them back in. Does it take more work or time to put a new one in as opposed to replacing the old one? Seems to me you are: a) not being very customer service oriented by charging extra for something you are already doing and b) selling two less parts at prices that would appear to have a pretty high profit margin already (based on prices for the same filters on Amazon or at parts houses). My car is around 70K miles. I took it in and was told the 7 year maintenance would be around $3K. I was like let's just do an oil change. I got home and Kyle called me, and I s I took it in and was told the 7 year maintenance would be around $3K. I was like let's just do an oil change. I got home and Kyle called me, and I said let's just do the 7 year maintenance. He said something along the lines of cheaper to do now, then later because my car is already being worked on. He was supposed to call me back with the price. He never did. When he contacted me back to tell me my car is almost done, he was like sorry, I was too busy. And I had to remind him to order my a Lyft I get to the dealership, someone else rings me out and it's $4 not $3K!!! I think they felt I was being ripped off and they gave me 3 free extra car washes. I get in my car my oil life says 20%. I get the follow up text and mention this, and Kyle doesn't respond when I asked him if I can bring it in on Saturday to fix this. I guess he got too busy. Plus, I'm paranoid now as to whether your mechanic did the work since apparently he forgot too. I bring it in and see how you guys reset it. You didn't even check if my oil was changed. Plus, you could have just told me how to do this over the phone. What a waste of my time I told my employee how I was ripped off at Honda. And he tells me he knew someone used to be a tech at Honda and what they do is charge the highest amount of time worked on a car, regardless of how much time they spent on the car Your bill is confusing to read. When I brought my car in to reset the oil button the guy added it to and said that's about right. Over $2K in labor!!! Are you kidding me!!! We went from 3K to 4K because Kyle was too busy to communicate clearly. When he texted about taking your survey if there was anything wrong , please tell him if there's anything he can fix I basically told him he could refund me my $1K back. He blamed it on miscommunication. Wow, maybe if he'd communicate and your billing was more transparent we wouldn't have this issue. On top of that when I went to get my car, you guys started saying 100K maintenance instead of 7 year or 75K miles. So if I drive enough to hit 100K miles this year I'll be out another $4K dollars. I asked the guy helped reset my oil, and he was like, yup. Forget it, this is the first Honda I've bought and probably the last and I just will stop having it serviced there after my last oil change 3 deal packaged oil change. Even other things dealerships I've felt they tried to scam me telling me I need a food change and you can in tell they didn't even check to actually see. You should have just given me my $1K back, because everyone I talk to tells me I got overcharged. It's not good word of mouth marketing for you. More
