Not only did the team really work with me and my needs, but they truly proved that they wanted my business, and went the extra mile to show that they didn't just want to sell a car, but wanted to create a lifelong customer out of me by creating a real relationship. Everyone that I interacted with at Empire was awesome, but I want to specifically shout out the gentlemen that I had the pleasure of working with directly. Charlie Murphy - My product specialist who was nothing but warm and welcoming and who I immediately hit it off with. Our conversations were straight forward, no bs, and he was able to answer all of my many questions and concerns along the way. He offered flexibility in every step of the process, and had my back throughout the entire transaction. He even helped me set up my new car insurance by hopping on the line while I was on the call with the insurance company, which took almost an hour of his own time to do and I greatly appreciate. Justin Likerman - The sales manager who joined Charlie during my meeting going over the details of the truck and the transaction. Justin went above and beyond to prove that he wanted to offer me the best product and pricing he could so that he could earn my business. He exemplified a drive to close the deal that I did not experience with many other reps or managers, and made me feel confident that I had gone with the right dealer for my vehicle purchase at the end of the day. Larry Velasquez - The finance director who I worked with for the finalization of the deal and signing for the vehicle. I had read horror stories online of the "finance guys" trying to pull one over on customers and pushing them to purchase additional packages and options, and trying to tack on extra fees at the signing. Larry was the complete opposite. Not only was he a super down to earth and cool guy, but he didn't press me even for one second to add anything else that I had not already agreed to. He made the process smooth, quick, and as painless as I could have ever asked for. Overall, the entire Empire team was awesome, and I couldn't be happier with them and my new Toyota Tacoma. This 2021 model is still in short supply, but fortunately, there was one available on their lot. Justin Khan, the Brand Specialist, was extremely knowledgeable about all the features of this new plug-in hybrid technology and he patiently answered all our questions. The dealership’s manager helped us reach agreement on the lease price and details in short order and let us test drive the car while the paperwork was being completed. Same day, we sat with Larry Velasquez, the Finance Director, and he had all the paperwork ready for my signature, put the keys in my hand, and I was driving off in our new car. Justin, Larry, and all the other people we met at Empire Toyota treated us with care and respect, and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality experience with a trusted team. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He followed up with me when necessary and was able to complete a lot of the paperwork without me having to come to the dealership.
