Lease Buyout - Lack of Transparency I decided to purchase my leased vehicle and the process was relatively simple. I was looking over the sales contract later on and noticed that the sal I decided to purchase my leased vehicle and the process was relatively simple. I was looking over the sales contract later on and noticed that the sale amount did not match the advertised payoff amount. I assumed it was a simple clerical error and we would be able to deal with it. I called the dealership ten times in the next two days and was rarely connected with anyone. No one responded to my email or phone messages. I showed up there out of frustration and was given a fairly curt explanation that ended with "all dealerships do that". I'm thankful that my lease is finished because I'm done with this dealership. More
