After 1 week the service center didn't call with service updates, didn't call when the car was ready, or confirm what service was performed when I came to pick up my car. I was informed it was because my s updates, didn't call when the car was ready, or confirm what service was performed when I came to pick up my car. I was informed it was because my service representative was off work that day. I had to call my rep a few days later to find out the work performed and ask why the service light was on. He wasn't able to confirm if the recall was performed or if the tires were rotated because there were no notes in the system. I had to return to the service center to have the services performed to ensure they were indeed performed and documented. I was provided a loaner car for the second visit as I was not provided a loan for the week they had my car during the initial service. I also did not receive any service updates or return phone calls during the week they had my call on the initial visit because my representative was not at work. Hyundai should have a better notification system in place for when a service representative is unavailable. Any rep should be able to provide basic information such as the work performed and the service status. Or at the very least return a customer's phone call when they are inquiring about their car that was at your facility for a week over a basic routine 10k mile service. More
