James, I am very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your interaction with us. Being that my Sales Consultants work on salary and not commission, we pride ourselves on our level of customer service. However, I feel that in this case there needs to be some more context as to what actually unfolded. This was a transaction that we had work with you for a month and a half, through emails and phone calls. You had interest in leasing a Colorado and were interested in the national lease special. We were able to honor it and even get lower if we had the proper money down and the taxes and tags were put down as well. This was something that you were unwilling to do. We were also working on a $5,000 more truck than was being advertised. On top of this, you had a trade in that was worth maximum $17,000 and you were looking for $19,000. Despite all of the obstacles, we were able to honor the lease payment, with no money down and being on a more expensive vehicle, and we were able to give you $2000 over the value of your trade, so that you could take money back out of it. So we accomplished everything that you were looking for. It was only later that you decided on your 24 month lease that you only wanted to make 23 payments and not give us your first payment. We have multiple emails, showing that this was all broken down for you, and the structure of numbers you said ok to had it on there as well. Banks require your first month payment at signing on all leases. This is were your frustration came in, even though it was explained to you multiple times, and was transcribed in emails and in plain sight. I can produce copies of this to show you that it was described to you. While I understand that you are frustrated, and while we do everything we can do to ensure that our customers are happy (Dealerrater award winner for 5 consecutive years), we have to abide by the rules of the bank, and when they do a 24 month lease, they expect to get 24 payments, not 23. If you would like to discuss this further, you can reach me at the store anytime.

My name is Andrew Long, and you never met me or attempted to yet you have tagged me in the review. I assure you there is no damage control, every conversation, and there were many of them, require that if you take a 24 month lease that the bank requires 24 months not 23. I apologize that you did not like the deal, and that is your right as a consumer but to say you were deceived is far fetched and even documented. The first month payment, is not money down, it is sent of to the bank. And yes you are right we do take care of our people and that is no secret, we present that to our customers, but nothing that they do is based off of profit or commission. So once again, sorry that the deal was not satisfactory to you, and I hope you find one elsewhere that is.

Nice failed attempt at damage control. The "context" on what occurred as stated by you in your response is FALSE !!! Is your sales team also non-bonus ? Why not call me to ask he how I know the answer to this question ? Why would Mark Hendricks approach me after I said we can't move forward after realizing I was the victim of deceit following the very awkward encounter in the business manager office and say "I'm sorry, I should have told you about that". Why would your dealership give me a check for $6000.00 for my trade only to request a first month payment $289.64 back for the 1st payment ? I was to be given $19,000 for my trade. The pay off was $11,000. That gave me $8000 to work with. $2000 was serving as a down payment and I was to walk away with the balance of $6000.00. According to your business manager at closing, I was due NO money, which was also false. Why ? Because Mark failed to tell the business manager this very important detail. See a pattern here ? The first month payment was included in the "capitalized initial fees". Mark and I shook hands on the terms of the deal only to have the terms change last minute. A 23 month lease was NEVER discussed. The e-mails you reference have nothing to do with the terms discussed during my visit. To imply that I contributed in anyway to your dealerships deceit is preposterous. My facts are correct, your dealership is not ! Since you did not identify yourself, I can't ask for you. You have my information and my phone is always on. I certainly don't expect your dealership to actually right a wrong. After all, that's what professional people with integrity would actually do.

BOYCOTT BENNETT responded

I tagged you in the review since you are decision maker behind the scenes. Did you make any effort to introduce yourself to me ? I know Mark called you when I questioned him as to why I was being told by your business manager that I was owed no money for my trade and that I actually owed money at closing. I am crystal clear on the terms that I agreed to with Mark while Rebecca was sitting right there at the desk. We shook hands. To say that I was not happy with the deal presented at that point is a false statement. Why would I be told that I would given a check for $6000.00 if I was expected to pay the first month beyond that ? Are you serious ?Please answer that question ? You can't because only Mark can. You are missing the point. The deal I agreed to with Mark is not the deal presented at closing. That is your dealerships mistake. I even called Mark last night to confront him about it. Go ask him about our conversation. He did not dispute 1 fact. Why, because he knows the truth. I refuse to back off this matter until someone steps up make it right.

I tried to take your phone call yesterday, but was told that you had no desire to talk to me but rather would prefer to go to someone above me. There is nothing to be made right but like I said I am available at the store to talk. I am out for the weekend but will be back in on Monday. Have a great weekend.

Mar 05, 2018

BOYCOTT BENNETT responded

Andrew, how exactly did you try to take my call ? Did you intercept the call with me in an effort to offer assistance ? No. Did I tell you I did not want to speak to you ? No, because we did not speak. I asked to speak with the highest level of management at the dealership. I was told that was Steve so that's who I left a message for since I was told that he was not in the office. Did you try calling me at anytime to offer assistance ? No. Neither did Steve. If you are going to make statements, I would strongly recommend that they be factual and not your own interpretation of events as you seem ignorant to the facts of this matter. Unfortunately, I have to correct you once again. There is something to be made right here. A member of management needs to demonstrate some integrity, man up, and admit the truth of what happened if you want me to be done with the xx.
