READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!! My car is a 2012 BMW XS with 140,000 miles on it. The drive belt on my car broke on May 30, 2018 after six years and 140,000 miles. I took my car to H My car is a 2012 BMW XS with 140,000 miles on it. The drive belt on my car broke on May 30, 2018 after six years and 140,000 miles. I took my car to Herb Chabers BMW of Boston and had the belt and tensioner replaced. While on a work trip last week in Upstate New York the belt broke again on July 5 and was towed to Keeler BMW located at 1111 T roy-Schenedady Rd Rte 7, Latham, NY 12110. The drive belt was ejected and ingested through the front main seal of the engine after only being drive 34 days and 2,200 miles from the date it was repaired. The engined now needs to be replaced. Keeler inspected the vehide and determined that there was no evidence of a parts failure, and further indicated that Herb Chambers BMW improperly installed it. I've also contacted BMW North America regarding this matter and they have determined Herb Chambers is responsible for the damage and any repairs necessary. I have tried resolving this the directly with Herb Chambers and they are refusing to assist me with getting my car fixed. I'm now pursuing recourse under 93A, the MA Consumer Protection Law and have contact the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. More

The entire team at Herb Chambers were phenomenal and I wanted to applau I leased a vehicle from Abdou Merheb and have dealt with many dealers before. The entire team at Herb Chambers were phenomenal and I wanted to applaud them on the professional, courteous and caring customer service they provided. Melissa, the General Manager was very helpful in making a stressful situation as convenient as possible by working with my schedule and accommodating my request to get some figures and specs before having to come to the dealer location. Her flexibility was helpful due to the circumstances and she expeditiously engaged the appropriate team members to help purchase/lease my next vehicle. Her overall demeanor and understanding in our call gave me the assurances that she was willing to work with me. The sales representative, Abdou Merheb, was primarily concerned with helping me find the best vehicle and ensuring that I was happy on all aspects of the deal. He was friendly, personable and kind which makes a big difference, and only concerned with my satisfaction. He was very responsive via email and phone when called upon and made arrangements to ensure my comfort (i.e. requesting a BMW representative to take me home rather than allow me to pay for an Uber). Giovanni, the General Sales Manager ensured that the deal Abdou was presenting me was made a reality. He was cordial and ensured that the transaction at this BMW dealership went beyond the dollars and cents to more about the customer and their satisfaction. The entire team - from those that greeted me (Jano) to the technical adviser that drove me home (Mark) were very hospitable. The sign of a truly prosperous and successful organization is one that prides itself in treating people with kindness, respect and fairness. Such actions create loyalty and continuous referral to both ensure and promote a noteworthy reputation. I congratulate and applaud this dealership and team on delivering excellent service. Thank you. Having purchased and maintained multiple vehicles with BMW of Boston, I knew right where to turn when looking to lease last week. I can confidently say their team members clearly define client service excellence. I’d like to take a moment to sincerely congratulate, thank, and recommend the Herb Chambers BMW of Boston for a job very well done! The job is much more than selling and maintaining vehicles – it extends to managing and maintaining a strong client relationship, something many dealerships forget. Outstanding Management & Sales Team team I recently purchased a Cert Pre-Owned BMW from this dealership. A week later, I decided I wanted to switch it for another Cert Pre-Owned BMW. The process was easy and several members of the staff made it an outstanding experience. First- Melissa Steffi, the GM truly understands Customer Service. I came back to this dealership primarily because of 2 very positive experiences with her over the years. Despite her large role and vast responsibilities, she always has time for for a one on one with any customer. Next- Jason Rocco, the Sales Mgr is friendly, personable and professional. Instantly likable guy. He is truly several notches above most people in this position at other dealerships. He dis-spells the stereotype of people in this position. Third, Moustafa Hamouda, one of the Business Managers. This young man is among the most refined, eloquent, interesting and intelligent people I have ever dealt with in any business situation. He is a role model for anyone especially other Millenials. He made the process of switching cars very easy. I could have stayed and talked business, family, politics etc with him for hours. Finally, John Voong, BMW Genius- This young man has the role of sales support during the purchase and at delivery. He knows how to clearly demonstrate many of the features of the car in a very understandable manner. He wants to help make your experience in purchasing and ownership positive. Always a Positive, No Pressure Experience! My husband and I have just leased our eight BMW from Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. We have always gotten a great deal, and are treated like family. We live at least an hour away from Boston, and have tried to lease with other dealerships that are closer to home, but they never have the inventory and the deals and sales experiences are never as good as Herb Chambers. General Manager Melissa Steffy and client adviser Kevin Bugbee have always made us feel welcome and appreciated. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about every series and model of BMW, and is a "no pressure " type of guy. He has a great attitude and has even delivered all of the new vehicles to our home. When the next lease is up, we will be back! Thank You Melissa and Kevin!! More

The job of the Service Department is much more than managing and maintaining vehicles – it extends to managing and maintaining a strong client relationship, something many dealerships forget. My Service Advisor, Evan Folsom, has gone above and beyond his duties to make my experience, and the experience of my referrals, the very best possible. Since I’ve started working with Evan I no longer look at servicing my vehicle as a task, but as part of the BMW experience. Evan promptly responds to emails and phone calls and makes scheduling seamless. Working with Evan is like being a guest at a fine hotel, his sincere kindness and hospitality makes me as a client feel welcome and assured that any and all issues with my vehicle will be resolved without problem. Evan has personally picked up and dropped off vehicles/loaners for me and my referrals making scheduling as simple and convenient as possible.
