Absolute worst service dept of any car dealership I have ever experienced. Zero professionalism , Zero communication , Zero customer service . None of the service advisors work together to help customers . ever experienced. Zero professionalism , Zero communication , Zero customer service . None of the service advisors work together to help customers . If your service advisor has a day off during the week you are held hostage . No one will give you an update or help you with the status of your vehicle including it being ready to be picked up . They will keep your vehicle a week before looking at an issue even with an appointment without any type of loan car available. These are simple warranty items on newer vehicles and nothing major .They will not hire additional techs and use the same excuse of being short handed . I had planned to purchase another vehicle from Heritage in Rockwall but after having multiple bad experiences in the service dept along with the last two being unexcusable within a 30 day time period there was no way I would ever purchase a vehicle again at this dealership . I was happy to drive 20 miles into Dallas and buy a 2024 new vehicle from their competitor. I’m all about buying local but this dealership makes it impossible . The Manager of this Service dept should be fired , the general manager should be fired for allowing this type of bad service to continue . The owner of this GM franchise should be made aware of this . I plan to also contact General Motors directly and file a complaint. My 2021 Yukon had what I suspected to be a bad battery. I called service to let them know my Yukon was coming in via a tow and what the problem was. The service advisor was Sam M. I was told it should just I called service to let them know my Yukon was coming in via a tow and what the problem was. The service advisor was Sam M. I was told it should just a take a couple of hours to resolve. The tow truck arrived at Heritage at or about 2 PM. Multiple calls made to service after 5 PM were unanswered. At or about 6 PM I did speak with Sam who told me they did not have the battery on hand and it would be the following day before the situation with my vehicle would be resolved. He stated he would not charge me labor because of the inconvenience I was experiencing. The end result was a multitude of failures on part of service. One, absolutely no phone calls at any time from Sam to provide a status Two, the several phone calls I made to service were unanswered (no voice mail, nothing...) Three, I was charged the labor Four, when I drove the car there was a message that my steering wheel lock needed attention. Yet the service invoice showed my vehicle received a multi-point inspection. How and why did no one from service or the advisor make note of the steering lock matter and look into it. I have dealt with the GMC dealership for many years. Sales and service. This was by far the worst experience of all the years. More
