The biggest highlight of my job is leaving my customers with a feeling of joy and satisfaction after purchasing their new or pre-owned vehicle. Ever since I was a kid, I have admired the Toyota brand. My first car was a 350,000 mile 1992 Toyota Camry, and to this day, I still drive the Toyota brand. My 4th Toyota Highlander from Phillips Toyota in Leesburg I told them the first time I bought a Highlander from them: You have ONE chance to give your very best price.....JUST ONE. And I will say yes or no I told them the first time I bought a Highlander from them: You have ONE chance to give your very best price.....JUST ONE. And I will say yes or no within 3 days. I went to 1 other Toyota Dealership in Orlando during those 3 days and told them the SAME thing: You have ONE chance to give my your very best price....JUST ONE. So they gave me a price and said "Thanks, but I am going now." They said...."WAIT! Maybe we can get the price down more." I said....."Didn't you hear me? I said you had ONE chance...just ONE." And I left and went back to Phillips Toyota in Leesburg, FL. The salesman said "We gave you a good price, didn't we?" And said " Where do I sign!" All 3 of my next Highlanders were bought here as well and I said the same thing: You have ONE chance to give me your best price....and they did....EVERY TIME! It doesn't hurt that I LOVE my Highlanders. Mileage on the previous 3 was: 195,000; 165,000 and this last one was 153,000. They all had more miles to give; this time I just WANTED a new Highlander and didn't want to wait for another 30,000 miles! AND......they ALL looked almost like NEW yet! Every other car I ever owned (most all American made cars) looked like carp after about 105,000 miles. AND....ALL of my 3 former Highlanders had NO MAJOR REPAIR BILLS....EVER! Just normal maintenance: tires, brakes, oil changes......NOT EVEN any new mufflers!!! AND no drive train problems; no engine problems. So THAT is why I just bought my 4th Highlander at Phillips Toyota! THANK YOU!!!! More

Be careful and read the fine print. Phillip’s Toyota made the car buying experience very interesting. Our Salesman David was very polite and answered all of our many questions regarding Phillip’s Toyota made the car buying experience very interesting. Our Salesman David was very polite and answered all of our many questions regarding the Tacoma pick up truck we were interested in buying. When my wife and I inquired about the finance rates, David brought the finance rates up on his computer directly from The Toyota website. I asked David what the interest rate was on a 60 month loan. David stated the rate was 2.9%. When my wife and I met with the finance rep, the interest rate of 2.9% was no longer available to us since we were told by the Sales Mgr. Mike that ,”Since you received such a good discount from us on your new Tacoma that rate could not be used in conjunction with that discount.” Still attempting to understand what getting a good deal or what we thought was a good deal on a new truck had anything to do with an advertised interest rate from Toyota, The finance rep seemed put off by me bringing up the advertised rate of 2.9% and left the room to speak with Mike regarding our question on the advertised interest rate. After all was said and done, we ended up with an interest rate close to the advertised rate, not the 2.9% rate. Was the Dealership trying to make back money from us on the finance rate since we were told we got such a good discount? Very Interesting. More
