My husband and I even had to stress to our son this is, unfortunately, not how vehicle purchasing usually goes. We were trying to teach our son how grueling the process could be and how to handle it, but . . . this dealer made us look like we didn't know what we were talking about in the best of ways! :) Knowledgeable, friendly, and timely service PLUS a positive experience once in the finance phase of the purchase. Not sure why there is no review from me for Mr.Wagner but as soon as I found out I wanted to correct the oversight. Mr. Wagner is by far the best retail salesperson I have ever interacted with. Every step of the process of car buying was enjoyable, informative and easy. He is friendly without being overbearing. I have purchased 2 vehicles from him and honestly look forward to the next time I need one. I would not consider buying from anyone but him at 5 Star Ford. They are a winning team. We purchased our current vehicle in June of 2018. More

Phil was absolutely amazing. Never pushed me into something I didn't want, worked hard to get me the deal I wanted, made it quick and painless. After a bad experience at another dealership and bei something I didn't want, worked hard to get me the deal I wanted, made it quick and painless. After a bad experience at another dealership and being pressured into something I didn't really need or want, I was nervous. But Phil proved to me that not all dealerships are the same. I am now a customer for life. I got the truck I wanted, payments where I needed and the best experience. Thank you for all your hard work, kindness and staying late to help me. You are greatly appreciated and well as everyone else. Finance was just as quick and helpful. Learned a few things I didn't know and actually enjoyed the process. Lol never laughed so much while signing papers. Jeremy was also great. Discussed some future plans I have on aftermarket items and even though I wasn't doing them that day, he discussed everything, took us to service and showed us around, showed me some things im looking at. Joked with my daughter. Again thank you all for restoring my faith in the car buying experience. More

Overall, really great experience at Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford. Easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, they had some deep discounts on the car we were interested in, and they weren’t push Ford. Only reason for the four star rating instead of five was the amount they offered for my trade in was very low, when questioned the manager wouldn’t budge, and my experience with a finance manager (not the primary one we dealt with, who was great) that was not very friendly. I don't usually read reviews, but luckily I saved us some grief by doing so this time. We don't need to be going through any unnecessary anxiety, Sam Pack Ford in Carrollton stood out, and the reviews were correct. From the salesman, Jared Wingard, to the staff, the purchase of our 2020 Edge was Smooth Sailing. Thank you all at Sam Pack Ford in Carrollton for a low key, and thorough car buying experience! More

We worked directly with David Baldovin who called to let us know about the 120 day window for trading in our lease to get equity out of it. It’s almost like they intentionally named this place Five Star because that’s exactly what they delivered from a customer experience standpoint ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ x 💯‼️ After doing a lot of research on a new For Star because that’s exactly what they delivered from a customer experience standpoint ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ x 💯‼️ After doing a lot of research on a new Ford Expedition, I thought I was ready to head to a dealership and get it done. What I should have spent more time researching was dealerships, themselves. After spending all of Monday at multiple Ford dealerships in the DFW-area (Bob Tomes and AutoNation Frisco, to be specific) and coming up empty, I was bound and determined to not repeat those experiences on Tuesday. Tuesday morning, the last day of 2019, I was texting with the salesman and planning on dropping by. I had the pleasure of working with Kurt Stalnaker in the Internet Sales department at Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford (Carrollton) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. He was great! He’s personable. He listens to what you want. He’s not afraid to shoot you straight. He’s got no problem trying to get creative. Overall, he’s truly a great person whom you’d be lucky to work with. Now, part of having a great experience in any retail/purchasing experience is getting what you set out to purchase. That’s not lost on me. What’s great is that they weren’t trying to sell me something other than what I wanted/needed. They wanted to figure out how to make it work for all parties. If you’ve ever purchased a vehicle, you understand that it’s never just your salesperson you’re going to interact with. The great news, at least in my experience, was that everyone else I interacted with was, as we at Amazon say, “Customer Obsessed”. Others: • Alexandra “Alex” in the aftermarket and customizations department was as friendly, energetic, passionate, knowledgeable, and helpful as just about anyone I’ve ever interacted with in a retail environment. She hooked me up with some WeatherTech floor liners throughout, and she even had them in stock! Also worth noting, my Expedition had plenty of aftermarket touches before I ever found it online - that’s thanks to Alex! • R.J. is the GSM (General Sales Manager). He, along with the Mike Pisarik (“finance guy”) were instrumental in getting creative. Back story: my mom was the Guarantor on my previous loan, and she’d have to sign off on the trade. Challenge was that she wasn’t able to be there with me. What did they do? They sent a driver 1-hour+ out to Weatherford, TX to meet her and grab a couple signatures! That’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service! • I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge everyone else even though they had no involvement in my actual purchase. They were willing to just have conversations while the process worked itself out. I even got some congratulations from some of them a few hours after our little chat when they found out I was locking my deal up! •• CONCLUSION •• The long & short of this, before you just assume all Ford dealerships are created equally, do your research. It’s important to research: 1. The vehicle you want and the one you’re trading in - sure. I got my numbers from all of the following: Kelly Blue Book, NADA, TrueCar, and Edmunds. 2. It’s a close 2nd to research the dealership. Facebook, Google, Yelp, and even sites like Cars.com give good information on this front. 3. If you’re able, research your sales staff! I didn’t do a lot on this front, but I know Cars.com had individual reviews on the sales team if you wanted to inquire directly with them once your target vehicle is identified. Lucky for you, if you’ve found this, your research on the last two is done! More
