I went there to change oil only to be told the car will not move until I fix oil panel for $900. How did I get there in the first place if the car cannot move??? Besides, I had been on the road all morning not move until I fix oil panel for $900. How did I get there in the first place if the car cannot move??? Had windshield wipers installed. I got on the freeway and it was raining my drivers side wiper was falling off. I had to get in the storm and reinstall the wiper. I may have had a unique and hard to coordinate issue with getting some missing components of a new truck purchase (I needed a new key and a speaker), but I was very frustrated with the communication between getting some missing components of a new truck purchase (I needed a new key and a speaker), but I was very frustrated with the communication between the parts dept and the service representatives. I made 1 service appointment (based on a call from a service rep) and then when I brought the truck in I was told the parts were not in. A couple weeks later I called on my own and spoke with a parts representative and was told the parts were in and I should schedule an appointment. When I scheduled the appointment I explained the specific details of my issue, but when I actually dropped the car off I was told again the parts were not in. At my insistence I reexplained the specific scenario and it was all resolved. I like Toyota Direct Service from past experience, but this experience was very frustrating on my part. More
