Told them about a noise in the rear end every time I got out of my car when had to have my sunroof replaced due to it coming off the tracks when I went to close it .. was told they couldn’t duplicate the so out of my car when had to have my sunroof replaced due to it coming off the tracks when I went to close it .. was told they couldn’t duplicate the sound - a sound that literally happens any and every time you got in or out of the vehicle. Due to the horrific experience I had with them 5 months prior, they appeased me and replaced my shocks in assumption that was the issue. The noise immediately started getting worse and worse to where a few weeks later I cannot get in or out of vehicle, enter or exit any kind of driveway, release brakes, hit bumps of any sort - literally anything that shifted the rear in any way, or there was a horrific sound coming from it. I take it back in and make them drive with me and yep, something isn’t right and can’t be denied any longer. So they fix it. I pick it up, happy things are finally all taken care of ans head home. As I go to pull into my driveway, my front end makes a horrific noise!! I thought I ran into or over something it was so loud and vibrated the front end and my steering wheel! Fiancé takes it for a drive and doesn’t even pull all the way out of the driveway when it makes the noise again. So he pulled out his phone and just partially backed in and out of the driveway to record the sound it was making. He then calls Luther and demands they have it towed to the shop and a rental car brought to my work. Which they did. Get a call that my sway bar and several bolts were not tightened back up in the front end when they put my car back together the day before. Did you read that right? Bolts Not Tightened Up?! My front end was literally not properly put back together all the way!! They sent me home, on the highway, with a half xxx slapped back together vehicle!! So now we’re going to mention the prior horrific experience I kept quiet about. Among a few other little things being done, my heads up display was replaced, where they put my dash information panel and heads up display back in crooked, both slightly tilted in opposite directions, my damaged dashboard all gouged up from taking it apart slapped back in with a huge gap/hole between the two pieces, and smudge marks all over my windshield! I’m not a complainer, I kept quiet about my dash issue and didn’t put a negative review about it when there was every right to say something. But I’m at wits end now .. no .. I’m down right pissed. This crossed the line. Between a vehicle with a mere 13,000 miles on it that’s had way too many issues - ones that it shouldn’t be having yet - to now adding in a repeated massive incompetence issue when I need these failing issues fixed. I have zero faith in this vehicle (2023 Acadia SLT) now OR the people I’m supposed to be able to rely on to keep it running safely for me. How do you not care enough to double check you finished putting someone’s front end back together right before sending them back on the road and endangering their life? Was told a meeting would happen and I’d be compensated, that the goal was to get me into a different vehicle. GMC denied a buy back, even though I am dam close to qualifying for it with how long my vehicle has sat in their shop being fixed. So far the offer is to refund me the cost of the extended warranty I put on my vehicle, “but they are still talking”. This is my 3rd vehicle in a row with them … guess we will see how much they value a repeat customer in the end ….. More
