Simply amazing experience from start to finish. Upon entering they were not overly aggressive (a good thing), but very attentive once we were ready to discuss leasing the new JX. We had already shopped entering they were not overly aggressive (a good thing), but very attentive once we were ready to discuss leasing the new JX. We had already shopped around (and didn't have a very good experience at a competitor's dealership) so we knew exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to spend. After letting Steve know that we did not need to test drive the vehicle and were ready to discuss price he asked us what we were looking for. We gave him a reasonable (albeit on the low side) initial offer. My husband is an attorney and I negotiate settlements for a living so of course we expected a steep counter offer and were fully prepared having calculated several different scenarios prior to the visit. Steve left us for about 10 minutes to check on pricing and stock. When he came back in and showed us their proposed offer my husband and I sat there in silence. Negotiations 101 is NEVER take the first offer, but we were at a loss. Steve had come within $9 of our offer! I struggled with not negotiating further, but really - $9? I couldn't believe it. Of course we accepted and Steve (what a nice guy and so easy to talk to) checked for our requested color combination, had the vehicle we wanted at their sister location and it was driven over within the hour. Bill in finance was extremely helpful and Assad the delivery manager was very informative taking the time to sit with us and go through all the bells and whistles of my beautiful new SUV. I drove home an extremely happy customer and both my husband and I could not believe the experience we had just had. Peter, the owner kept popping in through the whole process to make sure everything was going well and was so gracious welcoming us to the "Infinity family". Did not know buying a new car could be so easy. LOVE my new vehicle and I am confident this will not be my last Infinity with this dealership. You guys are awesome! More

Late into the evening, I had decided on one model on the lot, but at the last minute I opted for a model that I really wanted...the problem was it was on the lot of the Infiniti of Lisle. Peter Korallus, the head guy at Clarendon Hills, came out to talk to me. He told me how Clarendon Hills was new and how his goal was to drive awareness of the "Clarendon Hills brand" by providing great prices and making sure the customer was happy and got what they wanted. He then proceeded to push hard and do his best to strong arm me into buying the car on the Clarendon Hills lot, when I explicitly and repeatedly said I wanted the car on the Lisle lot. It was like shopping at the worst used car dealer ever. He was not listening to me, making me feel guilty about not buying it there (even though they said they were the same company overall) and was literally begging me to walk out with their car even though it wasn't what I wanted. The sad part is that the sales person I dealt with was fabulous. Peter was the problem. To make a long story short, I did end up with the car I wanted (the one from Lisle), but not after much angst, agita and after losing a fair amount of $ in the process directly because of Peter. Admittedly, I have responsibility here as well, but if Peter was true to his word about being all about the customer than it wouldn't have happened. I was on the fence about if I should post this review or not. I offered to provide Peter some feedback, and give him a chance to explain his position. So I figured if he reaches out, then he is sincere about customer service and maybe we can come to an understanding of what happened before. But a month later, I've heard nothing, much less an apology. So my conclusion is that Peter does not care about the customer, nor does he even care about Infiniti overall, but rather cares mostly about his own bottom line. Bottom line, I love my car and enjoyed my experience with my sales person. But if you can at all avoid dealing with Peter, I would highly recommend it. If you have to deal with him, I hope the info I provided can be helpful and take his words with a grain of salt. More
