All of the people I have encountered ar Honda of the Avenues are absolutely wonderful. Thomas Phelps in the Sales Department is a gentleman of the first order and really helped me make a decision as to Avenues are absolutely wonderful. For the most part, the process was fine. I was able to negotiate online and came in just for the test drive/purchase. My negative experience was with the payment process. Even though I got a good discount on the vehicle (is not getting charged for add ons really a discount?), the finance guy snuck in $427 for some insurance I'll never use and is probably a rip off, and he made it seem like it was included for free as a service from Honda of the Avenues. Since I was made to wait an extensive amount of time in the dealership given we had already hammered down the price, I was too anxious to get out of there with my car to ask for more details on what it was or to read that it is optional. That's on me, but still shady in my book. So yeah, overall a C. More
