I have recently joined the Smythe Volvo team with a strong background in customer service. What I enjoy most about my work is the upbeat energetic environment and the ability to diligently maintain customer satisfaction. Working with experienced, motivated management with high standards and expectations is refreshing in the automobile industry. I see myself behind the wheel of the Volvo S60 T5. The sporty styling is most appealing and as with all Volvo models, it boasts strong safety standards. Outside of the work environment I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, eating right and working out at the gym daily. I also love the beach, kayaking and spending as much time with my two boys as possible.

Two Recent Repairs I have had to bring in two different cars for two different reasons in the past week or so. I purchased both cars at Smythe and continue to service them there. In fact, we purchased our first car from them in 1993 and have been loyal customers since that time. Given the amount of choices we have in the area, I have to say that Smythe goes the extra mile (no pun intended) and really earns our business. I am continually impressed by the personnel there and their deep interest in doing what is right and making sure we have the best experience possible. I like the new dealership and enjoy the waiting time in the new lounge area. My most recent experience was today when I had a new set of tires installed and a brake pad replacement. Both were done as promised and it is amazing what a new set of tires feel like compared to the old ones. Nick did a great job advising me about the tires (I had come in to have one repaired) and for also seeing that the brakes needed attention. My trust in the team gave me confidence that the new set of tires was appropriate and confirmed a suspicion that I had. While I was there, I was also able to order a part for one of my cars and Scott did a great job locating it and ordering it for me. I also recognize some of the others who helped me on my last visit (Tom, Tina and Doug). Tony continues to be a big help in making sure I am well taken care of. Thanks to the team! More

Best Car Purchasing Experience Ever!!!!! PJ worked super hard to find the exact car I wanted and brought it from Massachusetts to NJ!!! As it was a 25th Anniversary gift from my Husband, he PJ worked super hard to find the exact car I wanted and brought it from Massachusetts to NJ!!! As it was a 25th Anniversary gift from my Husband, he even helped get a giant red bow on it when we came to pick it up!!! He patiently and thoroughly explained all the systems and must have done a very good job, as I remembered and used Navi, Voice, and Satellite radio, which he called and set up for us, on the way home!!! I even successfully programmed my Homelink on the first try!!! So clearly, he did a great job!!! We were getting my husband's car serviced that day as well and the service department was equally impressive! Tina and Ryan took care of us immediately even though we were quite LATE! Kevin, the owner, made a point of saying hello to us. And Alex explained all the financing and protection options carefully and thoroughly!! Overall, quite simply the best car buying experience we have EVER had!!!Start to finish!!! More

I have never been treated so poorly Warning service lights went on in my car saying things such as "charge failure" "transmission performance low" and "service urgent." I called several times to get someone to check my xc60 out to make sure it was safe to drive, even though a service appointment was not available until the end of the week. I was told that there was absolutely no time for anyone to check. The schedule was "completely booked." In addition, I was told that it was not certain whether my car should be driven without being looked at and no loaner cars were available at all. What is a mom to do? I drive a Volvo for its safety reputation and did not feel comfortable putting my 2 year old son in the car. I serviced my car elsewhere and never heard back from the manager for whom I left a voicemail. I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated and won't give my business to Smythe when my lease ends. More
