Tom Murphy has been the internet manager at Falmouth Toyota for over 6 years. He has also held a position on the sales floor and as a finance and insurance manager. Although his degree from Bowdoin College is for biochemistry, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps in the automobile business on Cape Cod. Tom spent time in Australia in college and has traveled to many other countries around the world including France, Italy and Costa Rica. Tom's interest include anything outdoors such as running, kayaking, biking and landscaping, and of course all the New England sports teams, especially the Patriots. He lives on the Cape with his wife and son and daughter. Tom's favorite part of working at Falmouth Toyota is all of the great customers and fellow employees he sees everyday.

I was able to look through all of their new and used cars on the website and pick out the ones I was interested in checking out. I test drove with Townsend Wells and he helped me to buy the car and get a good trade-in for my car. Amy Killoran was very helpful with all of the financing and helped me get a great rate on the loan. I felt that everyone was helpful and friendly. It was a very nice experience. More

We bought a 2011 Toyota Venza from Falmouth Toyota believing it was AWD. The day after we bought it we received a call from the dealership telling us that they had made a mistake. The vehicle was no believing it was AWD. The day after we bought it we received a call from the dealership telling us that they had made a mistake. The vehicle was not AWD; it was front-wheel drive. We told them we really wanted AWD so they went to work to find exactly what we wanted, even driving to New Hampshire to get the exact color we wanted. We ended up leasing a gorgeous 2013 Venza for an incredible price. We so appreciated the integrity of this dealership in informing us of their mistake and we have told many people about our experience. We even wrote a letter to the sales department thanking them. We would highly recommend Falmouth Toyota to anyone! More

My experience at Falmouth Toyota was exceptional. As as recent college grad with a new job and a long commute, I was looking for a reliable vehicle with better gas mileage. When I first went into Falmouth recent college grad with a new job and a long commute, I was looking for a reliable vehicle with better gas mileage. When I first went into Falmouth Toyota, I explained that I just wanted to become familiar with the inventory, but that I would not be purchasing a vehicle that day. Despite knowing that I was not going to be buying for quite some time, I was treated exceptionally. I was shown the inventory that was available. I had explained what I was looking for and the individual helping me showed me options that were in my price range without trying to up-sell me. When it came time to purchase the vehicle I had decided on a few months later, my experience was just as wonderful. I had never purchased a vehicle from a dealership before, so I was uncertain about the process. Each member of the Falmouth Toyota team that I worked with explained the process step by step with patience. It was wonderful to work with the people at Falmouth Toyota. My individual needs were really taken into consideration. The staff made my experience incredibly positive. We went to Falmouth Toyota for regular maintenance a week ago. Since 1992 we have purchased our cars from Falmouth Toyota and always go back to the dealership for service because of the expertise, knowledge ago. This time,as our 2007 Prius was being serviced we were looking at a 2013 plug-in Prius - out of curiosity- not because we were thinking of buying a car. Ian Nixon took the time to show us all the features and chat with us.Still with no intention of buying a car we talked with Ian about cost, trade-in, and 0% financing...he took the time to process our thoughts and situation even though he knew we were not in the market to buy a new car. We went home and called Ian with additional questions regarding the plug-in Prius and its advantages and cost to run compared to a regular Prius. By this time we were thinking "new Car" after hearing about timing for an honest/excellent trade- in value and 0% interest ,terms and payments . Ian called the next day having done research to find answers to all our questions concluding that the plug-in was not the best choice for us in our geographic situation and travel needs. By then we were looking on line at their in-stock Priuses and Ian suggested one in particular- we went to see it and he showed us every feature highlighting familiar features to the 2007 explaining and demonstrating advantages of the added features in the 2013 model.Tom and Matt Murphy each came by during the course of our shopping with friendly conversation and inquiries -as well as confirmation that we were making a good choice for our needs. Tom Sr. came by and did so as well. Ian continued the process of our purchase with attention to detail, friendliness and efficiency. He guided us to Amy for the financing application process which Amy did with friendliness and efficiency .We were given a sheet of reminders( Re: Title & insurance etc) Back to Ian who said we could pick up that day or the next- we opted for the next. He took care of registry ,changing the plates , getting us in for our sticker going over features and technology and even set up our Bluetooth phone system. He encouraged us to call if we were in need of any refresher or had questions about any features. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable and accessible and amazingly patient !!! It was an unexpected and wonderful experience buying our new car last week !! We highly recommend Falmouth Toyota and Ian Nixon! More

I have been looking for a replacement work truck, and I thought I would have to buy used. I checked the internet and found used trucks, had worked with Falmouth before, so emailed them. Another dealer I emailed did not respond at all. We discussed the used truck they had which did not fit my needs, then discussed other options including waiting for the "right" used truck - then described the new options available. They worked with me to get exactly the configurations I needed, found a color I love (I wasn't fussy, but this is a great color), offered a good price and worked with me on financing options so I can make affordable payments at a good interest rate. They also offered a maintenance package - free everything for the first 2000 miles from any Toyota dealer in the country. I'm happy with my new truck, very happy with Falmouth Toyota, will buy my retirement vehicle from them if and when retirement is an option! More

We were welcomed by everyone we came in contact with. Tom Murphy took us for several test rides and did not try to talk us into car in particular. He let us make up our own mind. When we called to say that we wanted the Prius, he took care of all the details. John O'Keefe spent several hours with us teaching us how to use this unusual car. When there was a problem with the radio he had a brand new one installed on the spot so we did not have to come back another day. The person who handled the financial details was very helpful. I have had trouble getting in touch with John concerning a promise of new car mats. We have been playing phone tag for several days. More

I found the car buying experience incredibly easy.
