Poor business ethics While the 2019 Avalon Hybrid is great. This dealership has proven to me to be unscrupulous in their business practices. On Feb 11 I was pressured int While the 2019 Avalon Hybrid is great. This dealership has proven to me to be unscrupulous in their business practices. On Feb 11 I was pressured into purchasing unwanted warranties and when I tried to cancel through the finance officer Tom Pardo the next day was told I had to wait. When I brought a copy of my tax return to my salesman Trey on the 13th he went to his supervisor and I signed paperwork for cancelation and refund of sales tax. To date this paperwork has not been recieved by Fidelity Warranty as they have confirmed that these policies are still active and they are working on cancellation requests from the 20th of the month now. Buyer beware and do not let them take advantage of you as they did me. Received the coupon book for service plan they added. Fortunately I was able to cancel directly. This plan can only be used at Phillip's and Tom Pardo knew I live in Tn and lied through his teeth to get a sale starting it could be used at any Toyota dealer. As I said earlier I'm happy with the car but would never deal with this company again other than to get my sales tax back on the canceled items which I know I will have to fight for. More

Just now · After many experiences with other dealers, Phillips Toyota, Ryan King, and Tony Viero were a delightful surprise. We dropped in while driving from Jacksonville to Miami telling Ryan we had only a few minutes to talk about a new Tacoma. Ryan dropped everything in order to serve our needs. Since the sales managers were busy or out Tony Viero (the General Manager) came right out and quickly answered questions and offered a proposal. After returning home to JAX, Ryan and Tony continued to communicate clearly and honestly via phone, text, and e-mail. All of this culminated in our purchase of a 2019 Tacoma Sport. Nice people to work with. They did not have exactly what we wanted on the lot. They checked and said they could get it in 3 or 4 days.
