We just purchased our new Subaru Forester Wilderness this week from Liberty Subaru. We have been shopping for a car for months now and have tried Liberty Subaru in the past but there has been little to no i week from Liberty Subaru. We have been shopping for a car for months now and have tried Liberty Subaru in the past but there has been little to no inventory when we did reach out which was in May and early June. The market and the inventory availability is what it is right now so buying has been a challenge to say the least and the experience at other dealerships we have worked with have been really poor to say the least as these dealerships are using the market and the supply and demand to their advantage. After searching online for inventory this past weekend and making a few calls we decided to stop by the Liberty Subaru dealership in person. We have always read positive reviews about this dealership so we were hoping that the reviews would match the experience. Well, I will have to agree with the general consensus, the salesmanship wasn't pushy, it was informative and John Clarke our sales person was incredibly kind, quite funny and super knowledgeable about the vehicles Subaru had to offer. This was mportant for us as we have been to places where the sales people didn't have a clue about the brands or models they were selling. That is 101, if you don't know the vehicles, you shouldn't be on the floor selling. We were definitely happy that we were paired with John as sometimes it is all about the match from the beginning, first impressions right? He answered every question we asked, he knew the inventory availability and when cars were expected, he knew what was available to purchase now, he also had someone who came in while he took us for a test drive and he managed helping both of us with professionalism. After we went over some of the particulars, costs, what was available now vs. not and what was coming in we told him we would give him a call and think about it. There was nothing pushy at all with his delivery and he understands after 7 years of working here I guess, how to work with buyers and make them feel comfortable in the buying process. When people come into a dealership (especially these days) they 9 out of 10 times are there to make a purchase - new or pre-owned. It is up to the sales person to recognize that in order to close the deal. They should be prepared to have the ability to provide as much information, salesmanship and customer service to make the buyer feel like their dealership is where you should spend your money. Well John did just that, he gave us his card - no pressure to buy, put a deposit or anything and we asked him how long he would be there for that day (this was this past Sat) as we were thinking we would return. We went home, had lunch, thought it over and called him an hour or so later to ask if there was any left to purchase (there were 3 when we came in and only 1 left when we called). We told him we were coming back and were able to work through purchasing the car and executing the financing later that day. We just picked up the car yesterday (Tuesday) and worked with Tom Portee on the additional packages available (tire, warranty etc.) as well as all the paperworking necessary to take the car home and Tom Portee also was incredibly professional, able to answer all of our questions and was not at all pushy or forcing us to purchase any additional items that he was offering. He gave us his card and said we could call him within a week if we wanted to add and he could offer us the current pricing over 10 months for certain packages but also did mention that pricing is subject to change. Overall it was really an easy and seamless experience, we didn't spend hours at the dealership from shopping, to financing paperwork and pick-up. I think if as the buyer you do your homework and come in with your own knowledge and questions, the sales people here at Liberty can easily help and answer your questions, and will conduct the sales professionally and with the highest customer service and care. This was my first experience at Liberty Subaru and it was outstanding. Tom Quinn was our sales consultant. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable. and accommodating . He kept us updated periodically as to when our new Legacy would arrive. When we were able to finally pick up the car , Tom reviewed with us the service procedure and all the safety features. Tom Portee was our Business Manager and he set up our warranty and the financial end of the vehicle. He also was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall I was extremely pleased with Liberty Subaru and definitely would recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase a suburb vehicle. I love my new Legacy. More

I purchased a new 2020 Subaru Outback from Liberty Subaru. I am really pleased with their Service Department - very professional and customer focused. Have brought this car in for a few oil changes an Subaru. I am really pleased with their Service Department - very professional and customer focused. Have brought this car in for a few oil changes and minor fixes -- and just recently had major service done on a 2009 Outback; the technician gave it a great tune-up and it drives beautifully now. Over the years, have heard Subaru owners praising the Service Department here - and I am in full agreement! More
