Trent The Car Guy - Look No Further Let me begin by saying that I've been on the hunt for a new vehicle for the last 6 or more months trying to find something comparable to my 2012 5.0 M Let me begin by saying that I've been on the hunt for a new vehicle for the last 6 or more months trying to find something comparable to my 2012 5.0 Mustang. I attempted to make a purchase at Larry H. Miller Dodge, but the staff were lacking in knowledge of most standard features and needed constant reminding of the needs I and my family required in a new vehicle. After getting a less than stellar performance out of their staff and almost laughed out of the door, needless to say my wife and I were done and completely put the idea of a new vehicle out of our head. Months went by and I began to eyeball multiple different vehicles again out of feigned interest, always hoping for a 'Unicorn' so to speak. Enter Tucson Subaru and Trent Nichols, the dealer that sets what SHOULD be the standard for all car dealers everywhere. After having helped me before with my Mustang purchase a couple of years ago, my wife and I happened to pass by the Subaru dealership and spotted a used 2014 Dodge Ram in their front lot. I quickly researched the vehicle and crossed my fingers hoping that Trent was still working at this particular dealership. As luck would have it, Trent didn't let my e-mail sit any longer than a few minutes before I received a prompt, polite and professional response. After setting my expectations and describing my dilemma to Trent, he quickly took what information he needed and began working the financial wheelhouse and was effortlessly tireless about it. Even with the stipulations I put forth, Trent was never discouraged and responded with a smile and pursued the deal that much further. I continued to chomp at the bit as an hour or two went by, not by any fault of Trents', but of my own, and finally a deal was brokered that met MY needs at a price I wanted and Trent even went the extra mile to explain everything in depth to assure that the tapestry that was woven was thoroughly understood. Now my wife and our daughter can ride peacefully in our new Ram instead of being confined in a 2 door coupe. There is no point in spending time with any other dealer, and even if the dealership doesn't have what you want in their inventory, Trent will keep his ear to the ground for you. Good Dealer and even better person. As well, Trent turned us over to Traci Roberts in their financial department who was able to work our paperwork and have us in and out of the door with full explanation and half the time. He was very friendly and more than that willing to let us ask questions and explore the cars on the lot without pressure to buy, Once we did a test drive and decided which Forester we wanted he worked up several offers for us. Everything was so easy even the moving the car out of the show room and getting it prepared for us to take home was like magic. Steve brought Traci Roberts over and she remembered us from our purchase of the 2014 Forester. Traci assured us that she would have everything handled without a problem. It was like working with a good friend and knowing that everything would be taken care of. Her expertise and knowledge of product along with the friendship she shared with us made us feel right at home. What a wonderful feeling stress of car buying gone instantly. Another satisfying Subaru purchase with Tucson Subaru Picked up my 16 STI from Ken yesterday. Couple of minor issues with the car and Ken and the staff at Tuscon Subaru addressed them immediately and wouldn't let me leave until I was completely satisfied with the experience of picking up my new baby. Can't forget about Traci in finance. She made the paperwork easy peasy. I highly recommend these folks for a vehicle purchase. More

They Made the Best of a Bad Situation So I came prepared. I got pre approved for a loan, called and got an appointment with Trent in the morning, and came knowing which car exactly I wante So I came prepared. I got pre approved for a loan, called and got an appointment with Trent in the morning, and came knowing which car exactly I wanted. Everything started off great. Trent showed me the car I wanted and few others just so I have something to compare with. We took the car out for a drive, came back, and got down to finances. I had all my loan information, paystubs, references, etc. Unfortunately, the bank (Pima Federal Credit Union, who I will no longer be using) denied the loan because I have a 1099 and I am a first time buyer. These are all things PFCU knew when I got the pre approval but they waited until I went to go buy the car to deny me. So Trent got right on that and contacted every bank and credit union in their CUDL program. It did take all day but Trent kept me updated regularly and even got me lunch because I had been there so long. So many banks and unions did not want to give me a loan because of the 1099 and being a first time buyer and those that did wanted me to pay a huge monthly payment with huge interest rate, which is understandable but I went in with different expectations because of what I gotten pre approved for. Even after every bank and union denied me, the Subaru team called back one of the banks and essentially begged on my behalf to give me a decent loan. And I got it! They worked so hard for me to get this loan, most places were offering 15% interest with 300$ something monthly payments and they worked so hard to get me a 8% interest with 200$ something monthly payment. Everyone who worked there was so excited for me, it was unbelievable. The dealership was even willing to not make a profit on the sale. Once they got me the loan, I was able to sit down with Traci (who was working so hard behind the curtain to make this deal happen) and sign all the documents and drive away with my first car, secure in knowing I got the best loan I possibly could. So you can say this was the best and worst experience I've had with buying a car. Worst: Never using Pima Federal Credit Union. Best: I bought a used Prius at the Subaru dealership and will go back to Subaru and Trent to get my next car even if it isn't a Subaru. Thank you so much for all your hard work! More

Tainted by past experiences with other dealerships I came to this one rather hesitantly. After taking a quick look at the cars, Steve approached me and greeted me warmly. Unlike other salesmen I have dealt with, Steve dealt with me patiently and made an honest effort to help me find the car that I was looking for. Once we agreed on the price I purchased the car and have been enjoying it since. The claims that Steve made come true (such as the price of my insurance would likely drop after purchasing a Subaru), and to say I am pleased with the events that transpired would be a gross understatement. Not only would I recommend this dealership to a friend, but I would also come back to this dealership whenever I decide to purchase another vehicle. Thank you to Steve, Traci, and the Tucson Subaru Dealership! If you are in the market to purchase a new automobile, consider this dealership: it would be a great surprise to me if you are not at least as satisfied with them as I was. More
