I was in contact with Tony before the purchase because I was looking online at my options for a used late model vehicle. Tony kept in contact with me and told me he was there for my support. I shared some was looking online at my options for a used late model vehicle. Tony kept in contact with me and told me he was there for my support. I shared some pre-sale information with him about my obstacles and he gently fielded those in our conversation at the xxx. During the process, Tony overcame all the obstacles that my husband (our family car go-to) threw out. He was transparent, forthcoming, and provided facts about the car that we understood. We came in unannounced. Vito greeted us and asked what we were looking for. I gave him the details and said that I was working with Tony. He said that Tony came in on his day off to help with an event, but would check to see if he was available. In the meantime, Vito had two cars ready for test-drive while he checked with Tony. He could have taken the sale right there, but he went out of his way to check to see if Tony was able to jump in. Tony (unlike another sales associate at another dealership-not Subaru) stayed over that evening we simply showed up. The Dean Team was throwing a Trunk or Treat event and it became quite busy. Tony's family showed up and he explained to them he was caring for a customer. He did not know they were coming to the event, but still could have easily closed up shop and said, let's do this tomorrow. Sam (in finance) also stayed that evening to secure our sale and allow us to drive away with a new used 2024 Forester. It was all I hoped for and with the kindness and grace that Sam and Tony provided during the process. We drove off the lot with our new car at 8:15pm that night. My husband was very impressed (which he is not very often) with the entire team at Dean Team. He said that every step of the way was done with clear communication and care along the way. Tony followed up in a couple days to schedule a clean up of my car, since it was late on a Friday night that we closed the sale. He asked if there was anything I needed them to look at and I had a couple very minor things. They fixed them and it took no time at all. The service team did a fine job. There was a very small ding in the windshield and they fixed it so well we had to really look closely to try to find it. They cleaned the car inside and out - it was spotless! Annie was clear, accurate and kind in her communication delivery. She kept in touch with me over the day and a half it took to service the car to detail. Annie answered all my questions in detail with thorough knowledge of the car and supported the Subaru mission to serve their customers. I will buy again from the Dean Team, should I need to. It was the best experience at a car dealership that I've ever had. More

Really good, hassle-free car buying experience. Arthur was great - he zeroed in on the perfect car we needed at an unexpectedly low price, and everything went very smoothly. I live in the Kansas City Metro area but came across a beautiful blue 2025 Atlas Crossport. I reached out to the dealership and began working on attaining said unit. Dave was very persistent to the point of annoyance. I agreed to take the train (a 4.5 hr ride) to the dealership. I asked him multiple times if everything was all good and he assured me I would be fine and it would be a safe environment. He picked me up from Amtrak in Kirkwood, MO in the vehicle, not once was I offered to test drive the car. Apparently Dave was not as honest and transparent as he stated via text and voice (which I have recorded) about method of payment, that’s when the nightmare of Mary Greathouse began. She pretended to act as if she cared, even tried to get me into a Taos which was not the reason I went so far out my way. She was condescending and showed complete disregard for my situation. I was 3.5 hrs by car away from home and they told me that I could Uber home. This was around 345 pm. I was not financially prepared for such a tall order and quite frankly they should have taken on the responsibility of making sure I was safe but Mary insisted I call “friends” and ask them to help me get home. In that moment I was mortified. Scared and confused I went and sat back down as Mary, Dave, and Vito Chirco had sidebar conversations about me with no resolutions. I had to text my salesman Dave just to get his attention. He did everything he could to avoid me at this point. By then it was 630 and they close at 7. Vito told me directly to go across the street to McDonald’s because they had Wi-Fi. Now why would I need Wi-Fi if I have a working phone, actually 2, one was my work phone.Vito also stated that I scan the QR code at the bus station and make my way to the inner city of St.Louis at night by myself. Dean team VW left me stranded in their city, a woman by herself and afraid. I had my iPhone recording this entire time so they cannot deny the way I was treated nor the things they said to me. I know if my name wasnt ethnic and my skin not brown they would have assisted me to a much more respectable degree. They not only treated me poorly but they put my life at risk. I sat at the McDonald’s for an hour waiting for an Uber I paid nearly $300 for. I am lucky I have parents who look out for their only child. I pray they try to bad mouth me for this review because I have the audio ready to go and I will post it for others to hear how Dean Team treats it’s minority customers. The very next day I purchased a white 2025 VW Atlas cross sport with an awesome panoramic roof and all the bells and whistles. Literally the very next day. I have proof of that as well. If you are not white and aesthetically pleasing to them they can care less about you. Im a firm believer in karma and Mary, Dave, and Vito will one day feel the fear and pain I felt as they left me stranded 3.5 hours away from home. But I was nobody to them. Just somebody’s not good enough black daughter. Attached is my proof of Uber and a photo of my new car that I purchased elsewhere the next day from dealership that cared and took pride in making sure I was well informed and cared for. More
