Drove 35 miles to purchase a new Honda Odyssey in December 2015. Salesperson was friendly, very helpful, explained the features, and worked with us to reach a fair price without a lot of back and forth with the Sales Manager. Overall a very low pressure sales experience. If you're looking for a new Honda, I think it's worth the drive to Serra Honda of Sylacauga.

Everyone went above and beyond to meet and exceed our needs. Y'all are a class totally above other dealers. We cannot wait for y'all to bring us our car on Monday. (The car we wanted has limited availability..only 14 in 4 states so they went and got us one and yes they are bringing it to us) AND I have to say Russ loved the bbq and ice cream. Yes! My 7 year old was served a bbq lunch with everything you can imagine, right down to grilled corn on the cob and ice cream. Plus, They also gave us all the goodies one could image. I think Russ could have stayed there forever.

Bad experience with finance manager - Unhappy
Our sales associate and all others except the finance manager, Owais Siddique, provided us with a pleasant experience. Mr. Siddique was rude, pushy, and argumentative when attempting to push the extended warranty on us. At one time my husband andI left the dealership so that we could discuss the purchase without his rude interruptions. Finally we returned and purchased the car because it was the car we wanted at the price we were willing to pay.

I was at the tail end of a long trip from northern Indiana to Birmingham when my car started acting erratically on the interstate about two hours out. It was dying and was overall just a bad experience. I called freeway Honda and explained my situation and somehow I made it to the dealership.
They understood that I was a poor college student that just needed honest help knowing what was going on. They kept it over night, did multiple tests, and ultimately gave me reassuring new that it had been fixed because the problem corrected itself. When I went to pick up my car I was greeted with the amazing news that all of the tests they had done, and time they spent on it, they were not charging me. They understood I had little money, and they truly did what most auto dealerships cannot do. I cannot recommend Freeway Honda anymore, an amazing facility with technicians that know what their doing.

All we needed was a nut taken off the spare tire and the person said why is my problem you don't have the special nut to take it off. The four tires on the car don't have the special nut.
Lack of professionalism and Customer Service - Koskey
Very unprofessional service staff, both on the phone and in person. Did not take the time to understand the issues I was describing, kept interrupting during our conversations, and several occasions the service representative responded with "Whatever" and hung up. I drive an extra 30 minutes to do business with another Honda Dealership due to past experiences with the Jim Skinner Honda Service Department - It is well worth the drive.

I am very displeased with the service dept. less than a year ago I went for service they recommended several repairs which I had. Cost $200. 2 days later lights were flashing so I went back. $850 more dollars. This week I go back for service and filters/brake shoes. $212. Get up this morning and my car won't crank. It's a 2009!!! Stay away from there.

I purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot last week from King Honda in Auburn. I was never pressured to purchase, I've purchased quite a few cars over the years, and i Must say that King Honda has my business and I will not hesitate to send family and friends their way. The Sales Manager, Randall, gave me a fair price for my trade, and answered every question that I had without acting like i was wasting his time, like most Managers do in the car business. The owner, Dave King, actually came out to introduce himself while I was there.

Employees cursed the whole time and have no respect for the customers. Sale rep lied on the phone told me I was pre approved after I drove a hour to get there, they acted like they had no clue. Do not buy from this place.

I TRIED to purchase a new 2016 Honda Civic EXr from them. I found that they and another out of state dealership had the exact car that I was looking to purchase for my daughter. I contacted both of them the same night (3 nights ago) and out of state dealership sent me a quote that night and I even received a phone call that wasn't pushy at all about the potential purchase. After talking with the other dealer I received a quote (both written & verbal) that was fantastic in my opinion. 2 days later I finally got a generic email quote back from JD Honda and it was $2000 more than the other. I emailed them that I had a much better quote from another dealer and Zac Biddle (salesman at JD Honda) basically called me a liar, that the other dealership had fees for "this & that" that they hadn't discussed with me and that I didn't have a written quote!!!! I forwarded the email quote to him and asked if he could match it and instead of just saying that they couldn't he continued to badmouth/belittle the other dealership. That's HORRIBLE business and I'd tell anyone to look elsewhere!

Just car shopping Honda Fit and Civic. Stopped at Grissom and talked with salesperson Lisa Fornes. She spent a lot of time with us, checked every question we asked, we took both cars on test rides over all kinds of roads from city to highway, potholes, backroads, etc. We got a great sample of how both vehicles handled (they are very different) Very attentive and friendly, Lisa really represented this dealership (and Honda) well!
We haven't purchased yet, but hope if we choose Honda that we can work the deal with Lisa at Grisson.
