I want to thank West Herr for stepping up during what has been a very negative car buying experience with another dealer. Not only did West Herr work with me to fix a vehicle I purchased elsewhere, they did everything possible to make sure I was never left without transportation.
I’ve purchased my last two vehicles directly from West Herr and have always had excellent service. Unfortunately, this time I went out of town to another dealership, and the car turned out to be a bad purchase — so bad that it qualifies under federal lemon law protections.
Through all of this, Scott Retzlaff, my service advisor, was amazing. He looked at every option available to help me, and while my vehicle was in service for 50 days, he made sure I always had a loaner to stay on the road.
When it came time to resolve nearly $5,000 in maintenance costs, Dennis Brusehaber, the Service Manager, personally stepped in and made sure those repairs could be financed, which made the situation manageable.
Thanks to Scott and Dennis for their empathy, patience, and compassion in handling this. West Herr’s culture of customer care shines through, and this experience reminded me why I will stick with buying my cars from West Herr moving forward.
